Milwaukee Ale House Grafton

What a delicious place! We were here for lunch and I had the stuffed burger, my husband had the Da Bomb burger, and we tried their drunken chicken. AMAZING. Reasonably priced, great draft selection, and our waitress was amazing.

New place for us. A bit early for a lunch crowd so it was quiet and we were served immediately. Great food and great service. Would like to come back when we can sit outside by the river. I had the classic flat bread pizza and my husband had the fish and chips.

Food was all great! We sat at the bar and had some appetizers while putting in a large to-go order for dinner. Short service, but what place isn’t in this time? Worth the patience. Just have to strongly reiterate food allergies so it makes it back to the kitchen.

I wish I had discovered this place BEFORE I moved away from Wisconsin! Recently my family and I had an incredible dinner at Milwaukee Ale House Grafton. We all left feeling completely full, and as one person described it, it felt like we "ate Wisconsin." First of all, the cheese curds here are (as other reviews have mentioned) fried PERFECTION. I've never had cheese curds like these. Local Wisconsin cheese encased in a golden crispy shell. Hot to the touch yet doesn't burn your mouth all. And it all comes on top of a bed of fries! Mmmm... For the main dishes we got the fish tacos, baked cod, and beyond burger (unfortunately they don't make their black bean burger anymore, but there is a new beyond burger option for vegetarians and vegans). They were all delicious and the onion rings I chose as a side were HUGE. The vegan beyond burger used a cashew cheese that tasted/looked more like a sauce to me, but it was good. Our server was SO nice. I'll be back again for more next time I'm in Wisconsin!
