Absolutely wonderful place to relax☆ Super highly recommend this place☆ The trails are beautiful, the layout is awesome and my dog loved the fenced in dog area☆
Can’t say enough good things about this park. It’s impeccably maintained, and it love the great walking trails. The owners are super friendly - I highly recommend it and will be sure to return!
Owner/operators are super friendly and helpful. It was our first time there and they stopped by repeatedly to check up and ask if we needed anything.
The check in process was simple and smooth, less than 5 mins.
Seasonal residents are the friendliest of any campground we've visited.
There's a new shower bathroom facility that is planned to be finished by memorial day 2021 (update: finished!) and it is right next to the group camping and close to the swimming pond. That is in addition to the existing bathroom/showers. Both have indoor and outdoor showers.
Wood for fire pits is available for purchase, along with ice, but not much else. There's a small town a couple of miles away for everything else you need. The owners will deliver the wood and ice right to your campsite and you can purchase small bundles to get exactly what you want.
There is a sand volleyball court but it was too early/cold for anyone to be playing.
Great weekend, and we plan to return but we probably won't put much stock into themed events and just treat it like a non-themed bonfire party.
Update: Returned for one of the popular events "camper crawl." Very fun with lots of participation; it was a sold out weekend. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, seasonal and weekenders alike. Highly recommended.
EDIT2: The seasonal area has been expanded for additional seasonal guests, and work is underway to expand it even more.
EDIT3: T-Mobile just put up a cell tower nearby so reception is 5G with full bars. Not sure about the other providers.
Also the pavilion has been completely remodeled to more than double the previous capacity.
Hammocks have been added in the weekender area near the event stage, with water mist-ers to help keep cool.
We enjoyed both of our stays this year. Great owners, regulars are very open and welcoming. Met some new friends. Love the openess and not being judged. We plan on coming back every year to have more fun and explore more of each other and other friends. See ya next year
We had a great time and met some new friends. Amazing owners. Scott is constantly on the go, checking in to see if there was anything we needed. We will definitely be back again.
