“I went to Neu’s in search of hardware for my master bathroom. I had already purchased my hardware months prior from Pottery Barn, but when the carpenter was going to install the knobs and pulls, he realized the screws that were supplied were very short and not long enough for the drawers or doors. I went to two hardware stores to find longer screws with no luck, nothing would fit in the hardware. I planned on returning my Pottery Barn hardware and just getting something else from Neu’s. Unfortunately, Neu’s didn’t have enough pulls on hand that would work in my bathroom. But, to my advantage, the man working (maybe the owner or manager?...not sure of his name) looked at my Pottery Barn hardware and said that he could rethread all of my hardware and supply longer screws so that my hardware would work. That is just what he did! I have all the hardware installed on my cabinets and it looks great! The next time I need hardware, I will go straight to Neu’s! I recommend this place to anyone I know looking for hardware. They have awesome, old fashioned customer service!! Thank you so much!!!!”

Two - not one - customer service gentlemen searched the store for them and couldn't find them, even though inventory showed they had some. Finally, one of the gentlemen TOOK me to the front (as opposed to telling me to go there) where I received excellent customer service from a lady who efficiently entered me into their system and made certain I received a rain check for the sale price on the item. “This is a fairly new and very large Home Depot that is conveniently located in Waukesha. I have always been able to find what I am looking for here and everyone always seems pretty helpful. When they first started pushing the self checkouts I was one of the hold outs, however, they have done a good job with the software and the layout so I am happy to use them now. The software is well maintained and I like the fact that it matches up my credit card with my email address and sends a receipt when I am done. This is a nice touch, especially if you are a professional customer and need to track expenses (although I am only a home DIYer). Overall this is a good location that I will continue to go to.”
