The menu overall is thoughtfully designed, and I love seeing seasonal options pop up as the weather cools down! On top of the fact that the restaurant is hands-down high quality, the staff are so kind and the service is quick (even during a busy lunch hour on a Friday!). There is usually room to find a table either inside or outside without having to wait. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. “5+1🌟 Really a surprising gem in an unassuming area. A nugget, or a diamond in the rough. And speaking of diamond, Selena who usually mixes the drinks, it was her last day today ☹️ Very astute young lady and a great conversationalist besides being a skilled Mixologist. My Wife really enjoyed her creations. That being said, my Chicken Parmesan was wonderful, the Calamari was delicious and not overly breaded or greasy. The Marinara sauce along with the tartar sauce was fantastic. My wife's Shrimp Scampi was very good, it's a different take on the Scampi, not full of bread crumbs and greasy butter. Much healthier and delicious. The Hard Lemonade that Selena made my wife, was really one of the better drinks she said that she's had. I would recommend anyone stopping for lunch or dinner, and the prices were more than competitive. Also, the bathrooms were spotless, and that always relates to the rest of the facility.”

“Had a great experience! Went there for my birthday. As soon as we arrived, was greeted by two hosts and the very smiley young male host took us to our seats. We sat outside the patio because it was a very nice day. At first we sat in a sunny area and asked if we could sit in a shaded area where we could enjoy the scenery. He gladly obliged. This was our first time there and the waitress was very patient, helpful and very friendly. Ordered some cocktails drinks: raspberry lemonade martini and bloody Mary, had the tuna poke and bacon wrap shrimp for appetizers and our entrees Philly cheese steak sandwich and the streak n fish combo. For dessert we had the cocoa chocolate cake…yummmm! Everything was very delicious! On the plus side, the river view scenery is beautiful. 😍 Sorry no menu pictures because the waitress told us they will be changing the menu to cater for the summer because what we had was catered for the winter. Looking forward to coming back again and checking out their summer menu updates. The reason for the 4 stars only, because you have to pay for parking and no valet either. I would give it 4.5, if I could too.”

Huge selection of FRESH MADE in house food, everything was explained to us. We ordered a taco bowl and a steak burrito. When I tell you the servings were massive it's an understatement (see pics). “This place is deceiving from the front. Walk inside and it's a really cool vibe; step outside on their back patio, and it's pretty shocking at how massive and beautiful it is!! Multiple tiers of outdoor deck seating with amazing views of the river. Bands play outside which gives it even better atmosphere. Staff is very attentive and friendly, food is absolutely amazing! In their outdoor area, they grow their own herbs for their food and drinks. They make an excellent mojito, multiple different flavor options, and of course original too. This is a stop we make every time either on the way to, or the way home from Treasure Island casino. If you're not from Wisconsin, don't forget to stop around the corner at the liquor store and grab some Spotted Cow before you leave ;)”

“Obviously the ice cream is the main attraction, and for good reason! So many cool and tasty flavors. BUT THE PIZZA is wayyy to good for it be served here! NY style crust, light and crispy! We had the Chicken Bacon Ranch and it was one of the better pizzas I have had in a while! I saw the ovens and knew it was going be good, but it was great! 15ish min wait for the pizza, enough time to watch the ferry go down and back a few times! They also have a great area out back of the shop with chairs and yard games and really cool surfboard tables overlooking the river! Had a great time hanging out back and playing cornhole! Will be back for pizza and maybe ice cream too!”

“This is a good small town family restaurant and bar. A bit of trying to do everything, but the saloon is separated from the restaurant, and the restaurant side also has a bar. Came here on a Sunday late morning this past August and the venue was packed but most definitely worth the wait. This is one of those restaurants that serves a good ol' home cookin' breakfast. I do like dining out for dinner in an upscale setting from time to time but when it comes to breakfast I've always appreciated an inexpensive and traditional unfancy plate of grub. I love being in a crowded family restaurant where the staff makes you feel welcome and one of these times I'll have to catch a Kingfish game.”

“The staff here is great! Everyone says hi and is very friendly. Our waitress was very quick and checked on us a plethora of times during our visit. I learned they make your hash browns fresh and it takes a little longer, but it's so much better! I ordered the stuffed hash browns without mushrooms and it was extremely filling. Our waitress said most people usually do not finish it, so I took that as a challenge and was able to conquer it. I highly recommend coming here if you want a cute local place with personality and very reasonable prices! Quick note, all food items are $1 more then the menu says but the items are not super expensive as is!”

“I stopped in with my sister at high noon, the place couldn't be busier. We were seated within minutes and waited on promptly. I got a "hot" sub but my turkey was barely warm. The bread is so soft and FRESH! I had a side choice with my sandwich, my sister did not. I got pasta salad and it was EXCELLENT, I would stop for takeout on this item alone! My sister's sandwich came with a half a handful of potato chips. I feel like for the price of these subs a side should be offered for all, my sister added on a pasta salad. The sodas come in plastic bottles with a cup of ice if you choose to use it. Our waitress Laura was very friendly and attentive. There is street parking if you're lucky enough to get it and ample parking around the corner. The street is very busy so be careful, this is right off the highway.”

“We rented Heritage Hall for our reception and it was amazing. It was recommended to us by someone else that had a reception there and she said they were great to work with, which was important to me. Village Bowl took care of so many things, including decorations. All the employees worked so hard during the night and regularly checked in with me. Truly made the night wonderful and everyone had a good time. Also, the room set up had area areas for dancing, eating, the head table, and the bar was awesome (with some great bartenders)! Not to mention, the bathrooms were right next to the hall and very convenient.”
