I was happy to see that they offered a variety of patties: traditional, mild, spinach, chicken, etc. I love a good Jamaican beef patty, so I was sold. The crust was flakey and the item itself was pretty large. However, the pocket of meat inside was definitely not as densely packed as the images on the menu screen. It was still very enjoyable and I would come back to eat one again.”

“I ordered (last minute) beautiful floral cupcakes for a friend starting a new job. I was surprised I could place an order for pickup so quickly, as early as next day! (They offer local delivery as well.) Ordering on their website was quick and easy. I loved being able to customize every single cupcake, from picking different colors for each cupcake, to choosing different flowers and so many more extra add on’s. There were SO many different types of colors and flowers to choose from, making the decision difficult. Pickup was easy. The cupcakes were GORGEOUS and the packaging was beautiful. The only minor issue I had was I wrote a message for the card on their website, but the card attached to the cupcakes cut my message off. The max character limit should match what can fit on the card. Overall, I definitely loved my experience and love to support local businesses. I will be a regular and will order plenty of cupcakes in the future.”

“On May 14, 2026, a local near Michigan Central Station recommended an ice cream spot to me. Craving something sweet, my friends and I made our way over, only to arrive right at closing time. As we approached the entrance, co-owner Ruth kindly gestured that they were closed—but then opened the door just to hear us out. We explained that we had come based on a local’s recommendation and fully understood that we’d have to return another time. Moved by our story, Ruth invited us inside to at least say hello to her husband Tom, the other co-owner. We stepped in, just to show appreciation and let them know we’d respect their hours and be back. To our surprise, Ruth and Tom generously offered each of us a scoop of ice cream—letting us choose our flavors—and welcomed us with warm, genuine conversation. We talked about Detroit, the auto industry, Michigan Central Station, and more. It wasn’t just the dessert that made the visit special, but the hospitality and human connection they shared. Their kindness and the overall experience were truly remarkable. Ruth and Tom embody what it means to go above and beyond for their customers. They are the best when they are fresh and warm with a nice slight exterior crisp and soft and perfectly moist interior! The savory deaux-nut is also so filling! Their drip coffee pairs perfectly with each bite. Once you try any of their creations, you will know why they sell out quick before the afternoon. “The drive-thru had at least eight cars in line when I pulled up so I decided to go inside . The staff was busy and bustling around for the drive-thru orders as no one was inside at the counter when we went inside . They had all the donuts in hot and fresh and they even had seasonal Easter Bunny bottoms up. Raised donuts with the donut hole in the middle which was cute and enjoyed tremendously by the kids . We did not get any drinks today, but they have a full selection of coffees and cappuccinos as well as cold brew, tea, milk and juice . The gentleman who waited on us at the counter was quick and friendly and very helpful . We were in there at breakfast time and they had a full breakfast menu, which many people had ordered because they were busy making the sandwiches as we were at the register to check out . They offer K-Cups of their world famous Tim Hortons coffee as well as coffee grounds, which is nice for take home or gifts. They do have gift cards available that you can purchase and if you have the app there are many benefits . If you're using the app, you can earn points if you use it every time you're checking out, you can add a method of payment as well as order ahead . I attempted to order ahead through the app and I found it a little bit difficult to navigate through the half a dozen that I wanted to get, I was having a hard time choosing the ones that I wanted instead of just a put together half dozen pack, so I decided to go and order them directly. I did have them scan my app when I paid for payment as well as earning points . There seem to be many people inside the restaurant that we're enjoying the dining room with coffee and breakfast and pastries which was really nice . Overall, by the time I got back out to the car, all of the cars that were in drive-thru had already been helped and sent through which was really good timing ! So whether you go in the drive-thru or inside the lobby you'll be waited on just as quickly . I believe with it being during the week and before school and office hours, they definitely have enough staff to help and get everybody through the drive-thru lickety split! We always come back to Tim Hortons and we enjoy it when they have fresh hot selections and everything is in stock . My personal favorite was the blueberry sour cream donut and it was amazing today. And by the way, don't forget to get your timbit packs for the kids, even my older kids enjoy digging in and grabbing a couple of the flavors that are tossed in . You're able to actually choose your own flavors or have them do a variety and the variety never fails to put a smile on everybody's face ! We will be back. Tim Hortons.
