Jen responded soon after I placed the order to confirm details. The cupcakes were delivered at the requested time and I appreciated the text confirming. I definitely won some major points - my friend LOVED them! The presentation was lovely (each cupcake nicely labeled and festive glitter in the box) and my friend said that the cupcakes were "f-ing amazing!" Have your shopping list ready, stop in at Starbucks inside of the Albertsons itself, and have a sip while you shop. It's a great experience early on a weekend or just after you drop the kids off at school during the week. The staff are helpful, and they do their best to be welcoming with everyone. Also, there is a dmv renewal machine inside, a nice little touch that is often times overlooked and welcome.”

These are things I always buy and often can't find in smaller, independent grocery stores. The produce prices were good, with specialty apples ranging from $2-3 per lb, which I have often paid at bigger markets, and dry grocery prices not exorbitant either. The overall bill was a bit higher than at a big-box store, but quite acceptable.”

The rice bowl was the best rice bowl I've ever had. The way they do the thin fried chicken is awesome and then the chipottle sauce was perfect with the cabbage. So very very impressed. The customer service was such a nice change of pace. I was greeted ( we ordered online for carryout) with a "hi how can I help you" and a smile. I gave the name on our order and the young girl said "oh perfect let me get that for you" again with a smile. Like she actually wanted to help! It was nice to see businesses teaching attitude and interpersonal skills!”

“Went there for the first time today after a friend told me to stop going to Dunkin Donuts and try to eat real food instead. I usually cook at home, but when I do get breakfast outside, I want it to be real, not premade manufactured garbage. However I used to love DD coffee, that's why I kept going there, but I knew it was time to switch to a place with better sandwiches. This place was AMAZING! The everything bagel sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, all the ingredients felt fresh and extremely flavorful, and the coffee was amazing too, in fact better than DD to my pleasant surprise. I'm a huge fan! Was another 10 min out of my way compared to DD, but well worth it! Quick service too. Highly recommend!”

She offers so many delicious cake and frosting flavors to choose from! We ended up ordering a smaller single tier cake along with an assortment of cupcakes. From the time of our tasting to our wedding day we had consistent communication and Alexis would answer any and all questions I threw her way. Her husband, Al, went out of his way to deliver our items to our venue which helped make our big day run smoothly. Our display table looked beautiful and is just what we pictured. My husband and I enjoyed the cake and our guests raved about all of the yummy options we had available. This isn't the first time we've had a dessert from the Novel Baker - Alexis made cake pops for our engagement, cupcakes for my bridal shower, and has made a dessert for just about every other family celebration we have had in the recent years. “Nothing outstanding to share about it. I do love the ability to do self checkout and there are a handful of long term friendly and helpful employees. Otherwise, they are regularly out of some things, move things often, and the most annoying thing is they totally stop carrying some items. I also find the lack of choices extremely irritating; lots of items give you a choice of Walmart's brand...or Walmart's brand. Duh! I want choices, but I guess if they did carry another brand, they would mark the price up so much that one would still be financially forced to purchase their brand.”
