“Great small town feel! Town Hall staff are super friendly. My family has attended Double Oak Police Department's National Night Out, 4th of July Parade, Easter Egg Hunt and many other awesome events the town holds. As for the other reviews, yes traffic enforcement occurs in Double Oak, and it makes sense. There are no shoulders or sidewalks for people to walk, bicycle etc on and the roads are hilly in some areas.”

“I am grandmother whom me and my husband had to take temporary custody of of grandkid, because of granddaughter had burn marks that showed up on her arm, on two different occasions. We have been having them for 3 years, and she haven’t done anything for them. She also didn’t come visit them or bring them any food, clothes or shoes these past three years. The judge scrip away a right to take the kids, and told her she have to have supervisor visitation. She pick and chooses when she wants to show up. It’s sad, because she have went out and had another baby, and can’t really do for it. So when you guys say that this courthouse is not being fare. I have to disagree with you. They are placing these kids in the best care that they see fit to do so. It’s not Gwinnett County Juvenile Court system fault.”

This morning's experience with efforts to get to the nearest Discount Tire, due to a flat tire only to be pulled over, served as an opportunity to put vulnerability and humaneness into action. Consequently, it is with much gratitude and a wholehearted thank you that we wish to salute officer Henderson & Supervisor Allen for being heroes today. Not only were they both timely in arrival but Officer Henderson specifically was proactive in identifying the frustration and responded immediately to the plea for practical assistance needed. It is exemplary community service such as what was experienced today that places faith back into the professionals who truly do seek to serve, protect & provide genuine help. “No complaints. Judges seem to be fair and rule with integrity. Professional and courteous staff in person. Always call and make sure you have the Dollar amount for your forms you'll be needing and check to see if they have wifi connection. The weather can knock them offline. So, they have to close the office early. It's understandable, it's not human error. This courthouse looks spectacular and clean as always. No phones or liters. Anything questionable is best left in your car.”

“Its easy to find the suites that your looking for, only due to the security team that you encounter at the entrance. Those employee's are some of the nicest courthouse employee's I've ever encountered. That's the only reason I give it 4 stars as for the bailiff's in the courtrooms, well let's just say they are very intimidating giving the ppl in the courtroom a feeling of incompetence or belittling due to the way they speak to them or address them. Almost as if the ppl who have to be there for whatever reason are unworthy of the bailiff's time and attention and that you're some dirt of society reject or something to that effect.”
