“We love having this local gem. 5 star as far as local, convenience and fresh flowers These aren't the mega fields of the wooden shoe in Oregon or Skagit valley. Visiting us FREE and plenty of photo ops with the fields available. Low stress option. I showed up on a Sunday and had the fields to myself to enjoy the show fields and the U-pick which is 50 cents a tulip. Fridges are open for a longer season for $5 bunches. How awesome to not have to worry about hours since they use the honor system to drop the money and fridges are available and regularly stocked. Love supporting local and not fighting crowds.”

I say that to say, I know yellow roses. This past weekend was my mom's memorial service and I ordered a dozen yellow roses from my favorite florist when I lived in Lorain, Zelek's. I sat in my car and cried when I picked them up. They were the most beautiful yellow roses I had ever seen in my life. I didn't ask for a vase, so they were wrapped up with greens and baby's breath.
