“Stunning, seasonal wedding flowers Sunborn Gardens did a fantastic job curating a colorful and seasonal selection for our 4th of July weekend wedding flowers. Our theme was iconic 1940 vintage and key colors were white, black and gold; we wanted an array colors to mimic fireworks. Lily (?) did a wonderful job listening to any particularly flowers we did or didn’t want, and the size of bouquets and boutonnières we wanted. She also created a mood board as a guide for how our flowers would come to life, which was very helpful in narrowing down what we wanted. The day of the staff went above and beyond providing extra pea blossoms to help give a stronger green accent on tables throughout the reception and also working two small framed photos into the bride’s bouquet that were used at her sister’s wedding 14 years ago. We’d highly recommend Sunborn to anyone looking for spectacular flowers for a wedding or event!”

“Sonnie was very responsive right from the time I called her till the flowers were delivered. I live on the other side of the country in Boston and so I was not sure which florist would be the best in the area. My childhood friend was moving into her first house and I wanted to send her some flowers. I called Sonnie last minute and she made delivery of the flowers the same day possible. I told her my budget and she sent me a few bouquets as an example and I chose the one I liked. She even customized that based on the colors I wanted. She sent me a text when the bouquet was ready and delivered it as soon as I gave her an ok. The communication with her was seamlessly done via text and it was super convenient for me. “The flowers this florist used in my father in law’s funeral arrangement went together so well. We told her our ideas and she created a beautiful masculine spray over his casket. Sunflowers, red roses, orange carnations and filler flowers. It really was beautiful. She really is talented and knows what looks good together . My family also used this florist back in 2010 with my fathers funeral. She also did an amazing job then. “Fantastic florist shop in downtown Shakopee. Showed up later in the evening with a prototype glass vase I am working on, in hopes to get a flower arrangement for photos, and left with a beautiful arrangement that contrasted the colors of the glass perfectly. It was even arranged with a photo op. in mind and got tips on how to change up a few things for when I just wanted them to look great at all angles in my house. “Brenda and her team are so so SO amazing! We met her at the Bridal Bazaar at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in May of 2021. She is super sweet and kind and she knows her flowers! We worked together for a little over a year and she made my family and I feel so welcomed whenever we would come to her studio. On our wedding day, she arrived early and setup up our flowers so beautifully! She even waited for our ceremony to end for her to collect her fabric off of the arch we were using.
