“The Garver Family recently had to let our Mom go to her father. Mom requested cremation and a small service. Mom visited Covington Memorial often, which is where her biological father is buried. Our family set down with Kayla and Eric to discuss what my Mom's wishes were and the best way to accomplish them. Kayla and Eric's compassion, wit, humor, and professionalism were above and beyond. The pricing for all of the services that we purchased were extremely reasonable. Communications with Kayla and Eric leading up to the service was impressive and responsive. The night of the service, Eric stayed late just to say Hi, and pay his respects to our Mom. Kayla stayed late as our service pushed past our expected end time with no hesitation. The facility was setup for the service, and was clean and orderly. It was the perfect atmosphere for my Mom and our family. Overall our family could not be more pleased with the service, attention to detail, compassion, and services of Covington Memorial Funeral Home. “On Feb 23 my 9 year old Rottweiler Zoey passed. I called a few places but when I called Wheeler it felt more personal then work, which meant alot to me because I'm 100% a dog mommy n when choosing a crematory I wanted to be sure she would be well taken care of... Mr. Steve was very nice and attentive, I dropped her off and witnessed him being kind n gentlewith the body. The turn around was about 4 days but he allowed time for my custom urn to be delivered so he could place the ashes inside for me, so I wouldn't have to transfer her from one urn to the other... they made a print of her paw and attached a super sweet poem and card as well as a certificate of cremation. I sure don't want to but in the future (I have 2 other dogs) I would surely choose them for my PETuary... “Our Mom was moved from one Funeral Home to another; which ended up being Griffin in Northville. The process was seamless for us. Having a funeral during the Covid-19 Pandemic is a challenge in itself, yet they made it stress free. These folks were very helpful and obliging. They were very caring, sympathetic and selfless. We must have changed pictures 6+ times and they did so with no attitude or making us feel bad about doing so. They were stand up people that were patient and professional. They have a wonderful facility, offered excellent service and most of all, accommodating! Can't thank them enough....”

“My mom passed away six years ago and I felt overwelmed and numb all at the same time. Veronica, who worked there at the time was very kind and patient with me and my sister. We live in Long Beach and was not sure if the location was too far away. But to our surprise it was not very far at all. It's very peaceful, and I love seeing the Mariachi Bands singing to their family members whom have passed away. My only criticism six years ago was that the painting on the Nitch wall was very old and peeling, and the name plates were crooked. But when I brought it to Veronica's attention it was all fixed within a few weeks. Now as of three years ago my nephew is resting peacefully there as well. R.I.P Mama ❤️ and Christopher 💙”
