“Had the most wonderful experience with Hackett’s Funeral Chapel. The entire team showed us so much respect and compassion. Our loved one was treated with so much respect and had a dignified funeral. In particular, Ms. Michelle was extremely kind and accommodating. It was not business, it felt so personal. Thank you so much Ms. Michelle, we are so heartbroken, but you offered kind words and gestures especially to his daughter. May God bless you and your entire staff!”

“My husband went on to glory on May 25. And I entered Legacy Growney funeral home the next day. First of all, the place did not feel like Your typical funeral home. It felt more peaceful.Sakina automatically made you feel comfortable when talking about services for your loved one. She made the process easy and seamless. The day of the service, which I wanted to be a celebration of my husband‘s life, was just that. She played the music he liked and made sure everybody was comfortable. The place felt more like a big living room where we all gathered to pay our respects, say our final see you later‘s for now, and just talked about all the great memories.”

“I couldn’t have asked better. We knew we didn’t want to have my dads memorial at a funeral home and VB Peterkin was so flexible and understanding about us wanting cremation only. They answered every one of my questions, accommodated special requests with a smile, handled picking my father up from hospice house promptly and with great compassion, and hand delivered the death certificates to my workplace. It’s the kind of business you hope you won’t have to revisit, but should the time arise, I know where I’ll go.”

“Awesome! My mother looked like a movie star...the staff was wonderful. Rick was a God Send. My whole family was so very pleased. God bless the services they provide at a time in your life when you are at your very worst. What a beautiful send off I know my mother was so very proud. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

“Allison and Rose handled the funerals of both my parents, my mom in 2009 and Dad in 2020. Our family was blessed both times by the professionalism, knowledge and experience of the staff, their thoughtfulness, willingness to be helpful, and the freedom we had both times to celebrate our loved ones in the way that most comforted and honored their memory. It meant so much that in times of challenge that we had them to guide us and handle the details with care. Our experience was positive due to the compassion and understanding the staff demonstrated throughout the time spent there.”

“My experience arranging my friend's son funeral was so overwhelming. However, Mr. Juan Beltran from Irving Calvary Funeral Home was super empathetic, companionate and extremely competent. He immediately put me at ease explaining the entire process from beginning to end, which included the transportation of the deceased party to Honduras. I live in California, and my Honduran friend lives in Ensenada, BC Mexico and her son was killed in Irving, TX. Needless to say, this was a super tragic and stressful event, but Mr. Juan Beltran was very supportive; he even conducted a long-distance communication with the victim's mother in Ensenada to coordinate the transportation of the deceased body to Honduras. Mr. Juan Beltran was like an angel that God had put on our path; he always responded to all of our questions and concerns via text, email and phone calls in a prompt manner. The deceased party arrived in Honduras within a week (as promised). Mr. Juan Beltran was always very honest regarding the entire process and never underdeliver; on the contrary, he exceeded my expectations. Thanks to their reasonable prices, the mother of the deceased party was able to say goodbye to her only son for one last time. Months later after the funeral, I had questions and needed some documents regarding the transportation of the deceased party and Mr. Juan Beltran was again very professional and responsive. Many companies will ignore or delay your request after the services were rendered and paid but it was not the case for Calvary Funeral Home. Thank you Irving Calvary Funeral Home for the legendary service received from one of your loyal associates Juan Beltran. I will recommend Irving Calvary Funeral Home to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and reputable company that will deliver what they promise.”

“Stephen was very professional and made a very good overall impression on our family. He provided emotional support at the very difficult time for us. Although given short notice he arranged everything in perfect timely fashion, including the delivery of flowers from the store we chose, which he had no prior relationship with. True professional and a gentleman! We do recommend his services. Thank you Stephen!”

“I highly recommend HD Oliver. My husband passed in another state, and I called them late on a Saturday night. From that moment on, everything was handled for me. My husband’s body was treated with dignity and respect and so was I. Everything that I asked for was taken care of. They made a very difficult time as easy for me as possible.”

“Beautiful flowers & tons of preordered flower bouquets for Mother’s Day. I would say flowers start from $50+, if you want to get something decent it would cost $70 minimum. I decided to shop elsewhere. It seems all floral shops around northern boulevard are in the same price range.”

“Mountain Valley was extremely accommodating and considerate with the circumstances they were presented with regarding the passing of a family member who died before Christmas and was discovered by his son. It was decided by all who were involved that because of the short time frame before Christmas and a tight budget (as he was only in his 50s there was no money set aside for funeral costs) to do as much as was affordable and possible in such a short time so his loves ones could have some closure, especially his son. They did an excellent job with so little time and the budget they were presented with. He was displayed exactly as was discussed. The embalming was considerably remarkable, I truly half expected him to open his eyes and say "gotcha!" and that this was all an elaborate joke. Thank you Mountain Valley Funeral Home for helping us in such a trying time and for the closure you were able to help us achieve.”

“We are thrilled with our selection of Threadgill’s Memorial Services. Debora Threadgill, who is the owner, picked up my mother, and her caring and compassion was matched by her professionalism. She was a pleasure to deal with on a very difficult day. Her attentiveness to us was exceptional as she carefully prepared my mother and us for the process ahead. Mom would have loved that her last ride was in a beautiful white minivan rather than something more somber. Down to the detail of Mom’s favorite song, Debora managed everything with amazing grace and sincerity. As she drove away from us, we heard her playing “You Are My Sunshine” by Johnny Cash for my mom. There could not have been a more fitting and appropriate way for my mother to take her last journey. Thank you, Debora, you are amazing, and you left us feeling unexpectedly uplifted and so happy that our mother was being cared for by you and your company. Thank you so much for everything. April Lewis and family”

“I would have to say that I have been fortunate not to personally need the services of a funeral home, but the time to prepare for that eventuality is prior to the need. I know that Mike Gedert is a guy who works with folks in that process in order to help them thread the financial needle so that families are not left with crushing debt, so that the are not exposed to wealth decimation as a result of extended care or end of life. He is like a combination of a social worker and a financial planner that guides people through the last few hurdles so that they can focus on their families as they transition, rather than financial obligations.”
