“We live right next to this station and it is a safe environment. The only problem is that there is no restroom near this station and sometimes people just pee and poop around here when they have to.”

“This was the beginning of my bike adventure. Taking the train out to Buffalo and then biking back on the Empire Trail.”
Address: 1 Kirby Plaza, Mt Kisco, NY 10549, USA
“Mount Kisco station is always well maintained during all four seasons. During the winter months crews come by before dawn to shovel snow and spread salt. During the warmer months the grounds crew power wash the platform and staircase every couple of weeks. There are no station attendants to purchase tickets but there are automated machines to buy them from at the top walkway platform. Parking is paid via ticket meters or a parking permit issued by the town hall. The two enclosed waiting areas, one atop the stairs and the other halfway down the train level platform, are both heated.”

Address: 18770 Rd 26, Madera, CA 93638, USA
“This Madera Amtrak station is a nice little station and it’s never too busy. In the evening, it’s very well lit but the only problem is they have no vending machines or a speaker to announce the arrivals, the departures and the late running lines. So, because of that, you need to be sure you are keeping an eye on the digital screens if you want to stay updated on the latest information.”

“I will defend the statement that public transportation in the United States pales in comparison to its fellow developed nations, but Grand Central Terminal is one of those places that makes me happy to use NY public transportation. It's an architectural marvel less iconic than the Empire State Building, but so much more aesthetic. The food options within and nearby are tempting. The staff are approachable & know their stuff.”

“Actually unbelievable The Station Agent actually took the time to help me that must have been a first but to be honest I lived in the Bay Area my entire life I have never ridden Bart but I had to pick up a friend and I asked what time the train from SFO is arriving at North Berkeley BART and I was told pretty much precisely what time and polite I might add that's one for the books but I still won't write it”

“This is just a well-run bus station. Clean indoor bathrooms open in the daytime. Vending machines with snacks & cold drinks. Lots of parking space surrounding the depot. There is even a large clock located on the roof for all to see. Designated smoking area, friendly drivers, information counter (weird hours for this one).”
Address: 1197 W Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, USA
“Find time to do this historical landmark. Only takes about half hour round trip and costs $5 CASH per person There is a small observation area at the top for some scenic photos. Also a little museum in the station at the top. Not much of anything else at the top except a couple of small restaurants/cocktail bar. It's a shame that the restaurant next door to the incline is permanently closed. It had great views of the river and a friend said it was a nice spot for a meal.”
