“Great little stagecoach stop to explore. A wealth of local history for the San Gorgonio Pass. The staff are top notch. If hiking on the trail towards the north, be mindful of some pitbull dogs that the house on top of the hill has. They run loose down the hill side and can be a concern.”

“This building used to be a quarter mile or so down the road at the cemetery. Thank God they did not demolish this nice building when the parish disbanded! Took off a star bc it’s not open very often.”

“It feels like an episode of the Twilight Zone in a good way, but it feels like if you do something like eat the food or say a magical word you could get stuck in a time loop, which is how a small town museum should feel. I wish it was larger.”

“It looks great on the outside! And I’m sure it’s really neat on the inside. But they are never open on weekends and apparently they’re now owned by the state of Pennsylvania. I hope that the state opens this museum free to the public on weekends, so that the public can stop in to take a look at some local history.”

“Interesting museum with an interesting take on colonial ancestry of the Netherlands. That was a predominant theme in the museum. Various exhibitions on many floors. The central hall is a beautiful place, although its vast emptiness feels there's something missing. Would be a good place for some huge highlights of a temporary exhibition etc. Despite visible efforts, the navigation leaves much to improve.”

“Great large distillery. We’ll mainly and organized. Hu he gift shop Thoth all their products. Timed tours are available. Tours are heavy in history and how they age and manage he their product after producing. The tour does not include the production (mashing, distillation) areas of the plant. It also does not allow you to see the automated bottling process which was disappointing. One hour walking tour ends at one of 6 tasting rooms. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Parking was good.”

“Even though the boat itself is closed, the rest of the memorial is still open Friday to Sunday! There's more to see than just the Batfish, including over a dozen different artifacts ranging from torpedoes, to naval mines, to 5-inch naval guns, and more! The volunteer there was extremely friendly and was happy to answer any questions I had. If you're visiting I recommend donating extra, as entry is only $3/person at the moment due to the submarine's closure, and they're trying to raise funds in preparation to move her to a permanent, more submarine friendly, location down the Arkansas River.”

“This little museum was surprisingly interesting and very well done. They offer a fairly quick guided tour that even the children enjoyed, and their old steam engines now operate on compressed air and are quite impressive. They've built some extraordinary structures on their grounds.”

“Great view, alot of great history. It's a shame all that Gold and Silver mining destroyed our rivers with mercury,, contaminated our ground, changed the shape of the mountains.. but its a great view!”

“We saw the sign on the road to the whirrly gig park and thought we would stop in. The cost is 10.00 for an adult and 8.00 for a senior. They have a small gift shop. There is a lot of fisplays in the old doctors office across the way. Nice carrage and antique cars in carage house plus an iron lung.”

“I've lived in the area most of my life and hadn't visited until recently. Had a great time with my family. Exhibits on Malta rocket testing, WWII bombers, Adirondack seaplanes, experimental aircraft, and many Cold War Era aircraft on display. All the museum volunteers and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend visiting!”

“Philips mansion is tucked away in an industrial area, but still holds onto its classic feel. I've been seeing the Delusions shows there and have enjoyed each visit. Walking through the home you feel almost transported back in time while still being able to appreciate the history that has happened in such a place”

“Amazing little place. Can't believe how many meaningful objects and stories they managed to elegantly fit in there. Most of it local units related that were deployed worldwide and took part in many historical events. Definitely one of my favorite war museums with its own distinct personality. Cheap entry and cool stuff in the souvenir shop as well”

“Thought the home looks impressive on the outside, wait till you see what’s on the inside! I went into the tour not knowing what to expect, and it was truly a time capsule of Theodore Roosevelt’s life. There’s a lot of antiques from all over the world; the space really highlighted just how much of a free spirit and adventurer he truly was. Our tour guide was spectacular in weaving the story of Roosevelt’s life in such an interesting way. I had no idea that an inkwell could be made from the foot of an animal, or that Roosevelt valued living life to the fullest despite being told that he wouldn’t live past childhood. It’s a touching story, and being in the house really brings you back in time to the mindset and interests that Roosevelt had. He was sort of an erratic genius? I highly recommend this tour, and supporting the space by purchasing tickets online. 10/10 experience!”

“Interesting park with unique, partially reconstructed French fort. Very limited signage on the grounds. There is a small museum on site that tells a great history of the area. There were no guides at the fort when we were there on a holiday weekend which was unfortunate. Still a very scenic and unique historical site at a very rural location that tells an important story of early North American history. Seems like it could be so much more with additional resources.”

“Pretty small museum, but for a toddler it did entertain them for 2 hours. Older kids won't get much from the experience. You have to pay per adult, and child which increases the cost quite a bit.”
