“Went for softball games. The fields are nice. Clean and maintained. Only thing is sitting on the visitor side during sunset the sun is directly in your face. So be sure to wear some sunglasses”

“A little difficult to access unless you have a truck or SUV with plenty of ground clearance. If you can get there it's a great place to start your hike to Mt. San Jacinto summit. Prepare for a very long strenuous day hike!”

“Oh, my heart. The waterfall here is just the best. And I love the community feeling— Many people can gather here and it doesn’t feel crowded, just very sweet Lots of beautiful trails, and I love meandering down the creek but for me, it all comes back to the waterfall. Have yet to go camping, but we would like to at some point, because from the looks of it, there are a lot of good campsite choices.”

“A nice park with a good variety of things to do for the Littles. The jungle gym has a section focused for toddlers and bigger kids. Several swings and slides are available on a rubber and turf play area. The center has several grills, benches and tables available. Baseball fields, basketball, volleyball and racquetball courts line the outside as well as a big green space. The only noticeable downside is a lot of people seem to leave their trash and some of the older kids can get significantly out of hand/disregard their surroundings and others around them. I did not notice a bathroom but I also did not seek it out”

“I’d like to say that the recreational league here is pretty fun. Good environment, decent field. The only issue is some of the refs aren’t well trained. Which I understand because it’s recreational. I for my game today was in the box about to take a shot and an opponent swiped my legs from under me causing me to go to the ground. There was no call and I was told it was “ not on purpose”. It should still be a foul and should have been given a penalty kick. Otherwise, it’s been very fun.”

“I really loved this hike. The trail takes you through diverse land environments, which keeps things entertaining over the ~5.5-km distance (one-way). Of course, the star of the show is the falls at the end - several areas to swim. The water was a bit cold (December), but it was super refreshing after the trail. You need a permit for this hike, and it is recommended that you park at the park just before the entrance to the trail. Highly recommend!”

“We went to community room for a party. Room was clean and reasonably priced. The grounds were well kept and would have been great to enjoy if the weather was warmer.”

“This campground was excellent. Set on the western side of the blue ridge mountains overlooking a great creek supplied by along the side. It is not rv friendly. However, I got in and out ok with my 27-foot Imagine. Had go divert the super tight left leaving by going up the mountain foe a mile to an easy turn around. Turkey season packs this camp.”

“The splash pad is ok. Most of it doesn't work tho (at least it didn't when we went). The playground area is much nicer and worth the trip. There are two shaded pavilions with plenty of picnic tables for seating and there's even outlets there for charging your devices. The restroom was clean. There was also a baseball field, a walking trail, and a gazebo with seating. The grounds are well maintained and clean. The one downside we experienced was that a child (aged 9 or 10) decided to pull down their pants and poop on the ground near the restrooms and their parent didn't make them clean it up. That was our que to leave, so we did. Overall, it's a nice place to visit with your kids.”

“Great surprise! Half mile off the road but worth it! Lady serving very accommodating and friendly. Best burger yet...so good I did put any dressings on it. Locals friendly. Free pool. Juke box. Thanks!! Wife loved her roast beef sandwich. Healthy salads. Low prices. Only incident was after reading US throws away 500,000,000 straws a day we usually say no straws. But didn't remind watress this time since nearly every restaurant we've been to after 7 weeks in Alaska already doesn't give straws unless requested. ...we were given wasteful straws ..darn.”

“Miami Riverview Park in Loveland, Ohio, is a scenic and versatile outdoor destination along the Great Miami River. This park offers a variety of activities for visitors, including hiking, biking, bird watching, and fishing. The park's location along the river provides beautiful natural views, making it a great spot for picnics and leisurely strolls. One of the highlights of the park is its connection to the Great Miami Riverway, a 99-mile trail that offers picturesque views of the river and surrounding landscapes. The park is also known for its historical significance, as the area was once inhabited by Native American tribes and later became a popular spot for settlers. The park is well-maintained and offers plenty of open spaces, making it an ideal location for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. It's particularly popular in the spring and fall when the weather is mild, and the foliage adds an extra layer of beauty to the landscape. If you're planning a visit, you'll find it a peaceful and enjoyable place to spend a day outdoors.”

“This is a pretty great campground, with some caveats. I'll start with the good: sites are generally very spread out. There are 4 pairs of vault restrooms (so 8 in total), and they were clean and well maintained. Several sites had tree cover for shade. All sites had a table and fire ring, and I think all fire rings had grates. There was also a hill at the back of the campground where you could walk up and get a fantastic view of both the campground and the Mojave. Now the cons: Currently there is no potable water on site. This might have been caused by the fire a few years prior, as there are non-working pumps around. So, maybe this will be fixed in the future. I'd also say that many of the sites are poorly maintained, with vegetation growing all around, or the parking spot being rutted out. A few sites had been reclaimed by nature, with no markings for parking and just a lone table sitting in the scrub. Overall, I'd say there are maybe 10 decent sites, most of them good for tent campers. Some of the sites also have a lot of area for parking and tents (one would even work as a group site). And because of the elevation, it's going to be more comfortable for more of the year than Hole in the Wall.”

“The park was clean, no trash. The fields were ready for use for our team practice. The bathrooms are locked up on the weekend so plan accordingly if visiting this park. Can't complain and will most likely use again.”

“This is our 2nd time staying here and we love it. The owner/managers are very good people and will help you, they are pet friendly, it's a quiet place, there is fishing, you have restaurants, fuel and grocery store near by. Plus they are VERY reasonable with their rates! (Whenever we are in this area we will always come back to this RV campground)”

“Beautiful! If you want nature and peace get spots 30 to 37. There are other areas that are more social. Meaning small campsites. The nature is a very beautiful Kansas nature and it's well maintained. Facilities are very nice yet still subject to nature. Meaning you may run across creatures such as racoons and mud dabbers. The boat ramp is not bad, but it does have some of the best courtesy docks. If you like bird watching you may find some nice birds. Not guaranteed they will be there. But it's a nature lovers paradise.”

“Really enjoyed our walk today. The trails are nice, clean and paths are clear for the most part. There were several fallen branches, but my kids had fun picking them up and I'm sure the runners were appreciative of that. Scenery is always beautiful in the Metro Parks and we were able to capture some of it.”

“It's a lovely little place to get away from the busy suburb traffic. There's a short trail that does lead to no where but along the way you'll see and hear birds and there's a bridge that takes you over Bannister Creek and a bench nearby. I loved sitting there and listening to the creek. Also spotted two eagles flying overhead.”

“This is my neighborhood park. It has a nice playground which caters mostly to smaller children. There's a skate park with several ramps and obstacles for doing tricks. The paved walking path circles the park which makes it great for getting your daily walk in. There's some parking but it's primarily made for residents within walking distance. They also have a field for soccer with goals as well as a baseball field and tennis court. If anything I would add a basketball court and possibly more trees and seating.”
