“This is a beautiful area with over 30 lakes, which offers a diverse range of recreational activities such as hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, and bird watching. There are still about 100 WWII TNT storage bunkers in the area, and those were fun to see! August A Busch Memorial Conservation Area is a great place to enjoy nature!”

“A small corner of Portland's Hoyt Arboretum, the Winter Garden has a collection of plants and trees that are particularly showy in winter. Without leaves to block the view, the Corkscrew Filbert's twisting branches are easy to see if you know where to look. One of the parks largest Western Red Cedar trees dominates this section. Other interesting trees include the Torch Maple, that shoots its blood-red trunk from the ground, especially dramatic when it snows.”

“My 😎 favorite local getaway is finally open!! It just didn't seem like summer 🏖️without being able to put my feet 👣 in the cool, cool river🏞️!! I LOVE💕 it here!!....free entrance/parking, pets🐕 allowed, bathrooms and life jackets🛟 available and lots of private areas to chill out. With the water🌊 having been so high there is a fresh selection of all kinds of rocks⛰️.It seems like the colors are more intense and more polished rocks around shore. I can't help but check them all out and add the coolest to my collection! Update: I thought this was already posted. It was from a month or so ago. Since then the river is running very high and swift. Went there Sept 4th. Still awesome but be careful!😊”

“Great neighborhood park. As with all county managed parks, it has it's ups and downs. It sees its share of vandalism which is caused mostly by outside (non resident) users. However with the residents involvement (report and complaint s) it is kept maintained. Overall maintenance is better than other public parks. I like the wide open fields which is why on most given days people use it to practice lacrosse or soccer.”

“White river and Fox River merge by the park. If you start at Echo park, following Broadway, get over begrudge and make back to the Wehmhoff Park. Thus park continues along Fox with relaxing views and planty beaches and small walking bridges. Just very cute park in the middle of the town.”

“A beautiful campground in the hills near the Kern River. Our group camp up for 3 nights to escape the heat down in the valley. The campground sits around 6000 feet so it's easily 20 degrees cooler than down below. The campground has flush toilets and hot showers. The campground doesn't see too many visitors and is a little gem in the hills. I'll definitely come back!”

“Nice overall forested hike if that’s what you’re looking for. There weren’t many overlooks with views of the landscape (at least on my trail route) also this trail camp is right by a road so diminishes a bit of that secluded feeling if that’s what you seek.”

“My new favorite DogPark! Only downside...street parking. Next to apartments. Looong fully fenced park. Playground, bathrooms, covered seating, separate single dog offleash area, poop bags, water fountain. Dog area is long, great for my dog to run, fetch, play.”

“This was the best KOA we've ever stayed at! The campground was well maintained and clean, they pick up your trash every morning. Two playgrounds, disc golf, a huge open green space for the kids to run and play. Pool area was very nice. Showers were very clean, laundry room was very nice. You can order food to be delivered to your campsite or poolside. Our site was big and I love how they put the fire rings in the ground with rock surrounding it. Little things like that make a huge difference. Overall very happy with our stay, we will definitely be visiting again!”

“There are a myriad of mixed reviews on this place which originally made me not want to go, but I did end up really happy that I did. It is expensive, but I personally did think the health benefits, relaxation, and experience was worth it. However, I can definitely understand how it isn’t for everyone. Firstly, it is true that the facilities are run down. There used to be a cafe and gift shop that are currently closed. Currently there is the admission area and the restrooms and that is it. So when you go there are no inside space it is only the spring and then the grassy area around the spring. The chairs and loungers are dated as well and most do have broken slats, that being said, the area is perfectly serviceable. Parking is super easy and free, restrooms are okay and you can always find a chair to grab or space to sit for relaxing, reading, or sunbathing. Second, the spring itself. It DOES smell like rotten eggs-it is SUPPOSED to smell. This is a mineral spring and this one contains the most mineral content of any mineral springs in the US. It contains sulfur which, naturally, smells bad but also gives it the majority of the health benefits that the spring does have. It also does have algae around the edges of the spring that does get stirred up the more people are in the spring. So by the middle of the day there is a lot of algae in the center and a lot of dirt kick up. If you want it to be less dirty, go as soon as the springs open and leave early afternoon. In the morning, most of the algae is on the sides of the pool instead of floating around and the water is clearer. The water itself isn’t really dirty-it just isn’t the crystal clear water that is characteristic of other Florida springs and the minerals probably cloud the water. Definitely not the best place to snorkel. As for the temperature, it is warmer than the other springs in Florida, but it’s not a hot tub-warm not hot-meaning it’s going to feel a bit cold getting in but you aren’t going to freeze. Its comfortable enough once you are in to stay a couple hours. Third, the health benefits. Here is what I noticed: -immediate skin benefits, acne/dermatitis/eczema relief and intermediate skin purge (under the skin pimples may come to the surface of the skin) -pain relief- for about 6-8 hours after exiting springs muscle and joint pains completely vanished for this time but comes back after the time period. After one soak the benefits seem temporary but for those with chronic pain it is so nice to have a day without the normal pain. -body detox-mostly just know that you may need to be near a restroom a lot for 2-3 days afterwards 😆 Overall, I do think this spring is worth it for the health benefits, but you have to remember it’s a natural spring/sinkhole with an ecosystem of fish and algae and NOT a luxury spa. There’s grass and dirt and therefore ants and bugs and small lizards. It smells, and you are going to smell like sulfur for about 48 hours. Bring your own towel, lots of water, and some snacks. You will be hungry and thirsty after! From research on mineral springs do two sessions about 45min-1 hour in the water with a break in between and wait a couple hours before showering.”

“This is a ball park that the kids seem to enjoy! It's got real sized dug outs and decent sized & nicely maintenanced baseball diamonds! There are 3 total! There's bleachers, snack shack and porta-potties that are fairly clean with one brick his and hers wheel chair accessable restroom!”

“Beautiful nature preserve. Trails through wildflowers in the summer are so beautiful! There are also trails through the woods. I hike here year-round with my dog...we encounter deer, fox, heron, frogs, all kinds of birds, and on rare occasions coyotes. It is a rare and wonderful place!”

“It's a little noisy considering how fast off the highway it is located, but it's not obnoxiously loud. The laundry room add clean and accessible but you don't get everything dry the first time. The staff is super friendly, the spots are spacious, but not every spot has a fire ring and no pucnic tables. That wasn't a deal breaker for us as we weren't there during the day. There is cable TV spaces and non cable spaces and we choose no TV. This trip was to unplug for us. The prices were perfect. Definitely would camp here again!”

“One of the nicest courses I've played in Michigan to-date. I will definately come back here. $49 to play on the weekend. Carts actually get you around. Course in a great shape and you have many breathtaking views from tee boxes on the front 9. I shoot mid 80s and it was plenty challenging with a couple par 4s that make you think twice about pulling out the driver.”

“This looks like a little park for the businesses/homes near it. The girlfriend and I were driving our pup around because that's what he likes when he wanted out to play now. We did a Google search of what was near us, since we don't know this area very well, and this came up. Plenty of benches, a cute swing, and a beautiful landscape was what was waiting for us. Brutus, our pup, loved the walk, as did we.”
