“Although easily accessible and right of the highway, it's quite tucked away. Nevertheless, they had good service and great food. I love supporting small and local companies and this was one of those. The waiter, who I found out later is the owner's daughter, did a great job. Not knowing beforehand that she was the owner's daughter was good because it allowed me to make a neutral judgement. It's a cozy place. I eat tilapia wherever it's available and they had one on the menu. It was great and very comparable to others I've had. This is a great place with great food 👍❤”

“Okay so after so many people telling me to go try this place I finally had the chance to do so today. We traveled over to Hueytown today and ate at a restaurant known as Bell Peppers. Even got to meet the owner and everything. He was very nice and even made our orders for us. So here's a bit about this place. It's low carb friendly, keto friendly, and its a diabetics paradise. The owner if I'm not mistaken is a diabetic himself (Tony made a friend). Everything there was made fresh and was super delicious. The pizza was my favorite and if no one told you, you would never know that the pepperoni, sausage, and bacon on the pizza was all Turkey meat. I was very happy to leave this black owned restaurant not feeling like I shouldn't have eaten this. The inside was very clean and the food is top quality. You get what you pay for. As far as everyone’s critique of her attitude, I can only say this: on the phone and when it’s extremely busy, she does have a curt attitude. We were first served with side dishes and Miso soup. I liked the horseradish the best and the owner made sure I took an extra side of horseradish home with me. Decided to try the Beef Burrito, Seafood Hot Stone Bowl and Bulgogi Hot Stone Bowl. At the end we were offered Muchi Korean Donuts on the house, not yet on the menu, owner wanted us to try them.
