“It's been years since I have stepped into Speedway Grill. Only because it's in a location I don't often pass. I think this diner has been open for at least 30 years. Decided to stop ln for lunch it was a coworker's birthday and that is where she picked. The food was really good and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is we only have an hour and we had to take most of it to go. The place was packed. The walls are filled with old race car pictures. They do have rootbeer in a frosted mug. I will be back to get one. I saw this gem on the way out, or I would have had a big frosted root beer.”

“It's a pretty huge accommodating space to host game night for CupsNConvo's Game Night. It was jammed packed & definitely a vibe. They had everything fun u can think of as a adult living out their inner child from double dutch to limbo consoles giant versions of the classic games We played like jinga connect 4 & chess. They also had twister arcade games amongst other things sure to keep you entertained on top of having a amazing dj's. They also provide a paid coat check $5 so you dint have to party with your belongings. The drinks we're expensive for no reason. & i food see food but hadn't been sure as how to access it. CupsNConvo's game night hosted at PolygonBk had overall been an amazing experience. However I will say the more people you bring the merrier the experience, but even to go alone will surely have you to experience oneness with others collectively om commonality no matter your childhood pleasures & entertainment & pass time for generations.”

“We were staying in the area to visit family and wanted a quick dinner while it was so hot out. Found their menu on Facebook and gave them a try. Was pleasantly surprised! Very cute little store with all of the basics you need for convenience and camping. Tidy & neat. They have a cute dining area inside and out front (beautiful flowers & metal patio furniture) but we had ordered ours to go. Easy parking areas. We ordered a 16” pizza special and breaded mushrooms. The crust was a bit thicker than we are used to (may see if they have a thin crust next time) but the toppings were generous. The breaded mushrooms were great! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Will definitely stop back!”

“Good selection of fun pizzas. The atmosphere is very basic if you dine in, but clean. With only two other couples in the restaurant, they told us our order would be ready in 15 minutes. We waited 25 minutes for our salad, and 45 minutes for our pizza. The ingredients tastes fresh, but the pizza was bland. Unfortunately, the gluten free crust wasn't good.”

“So good! I am from the east coast and was in town for the weekend. I wanted authentic Mexican food and was told to go here by a local. It was SO GOOD! The food was cooked to order so it was hot. The beans are fully of flavor, I don’t even like beans and loved them! The taco itself was magical. It had flavors that we don’t get at the restaurants back home. I’m a culinary school grad with years of restaurant cooking experience. I love to cook and Mexican food is my favorite. This place had the authentic yummy flavors that only real Mexican places offer. I wish I could make this at home but it just wouldn’t be the same! I had the shrimp taco with guacamole added and my sister had the California burrito which she also loved.”

“I'm not a connoisseur of food. However, I am very, very selective and picky with what I eat. I must say I was kind of iffy about going to this restaurant. I hadn't heard of it before and I wasn't very sure about it. However, what I was interested in was a southern meal that kind of stood out from your regular meal that someone may cook at home. So, when I ran across from a random search of restaurants the Johnson's Kitchen restaurant my son and I hopped in the car and decided to give it a try. The inside of the restaurant was warm clean actually surprisingly well/comfortably designed with a homey feel. Now, I must say like me my son I am very picky. He's 12. When he first bit in his food he exclaimed. And to me that's to say a lot. I was immediately comfortable with the idea of eating the food because I knew from that the food was probably pretty good. And everything I bit into was absolutely delicious. The portions were definitely great.The one thing I love about a great meal is not only does it look very good, it actually tastes just as good as good as it looks! Needless to say, we've ( my son and I) already talked about how satisfied 😌 we were with our meals expressing how much we needed to go back! “Their weekday specials are the definition of special. For example, Tuesdays, you can get a large combo basket (fish, shrimp, fries and hush puppies) for the price of a small combo basket. The level of seasoning is supreme. I would encourage you to taste before automatically adding salt. The best catfish I have had anywhere. The hush puppies and other items are delicious too. There was enough food for my wife and I to share one basket and have leftovers. Every item was hot and fresh. (Note: We couldn't wait, so we ate some before I took the picture.) Last year, we came here on our last night in town. This year we came on our first night in town, allowing for making this an option for another meal while we are here.”
