“I’ve come to this park over ten times now and every time I leave amazed. The trails take you through various ecosystems; a hardwood grove ( black walnut trail), wildflower fields (scarlet tanager) waterfalls, thick pine forests ( hemlock valley). There are levels of difficulty for all to enjoy! I’ve always parked up by Pelham road and walked down the steep gravel path before merging onto other trails, but recently I broke with tradition and tried Wiley road. What a gem! Please try it. Scarlet tanager to hemlock was my favourite section this time of year because of the bustling wildflower fields. Teeming with butterflies and bees. In winter time or after great rains I’d say swayze loop because the falls are magical. Well worth the exhaustive 2 hours. Not this time of year, though. The drought effects everything.”

“Nice park situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Kids play structures are relatively new and provide a good amount of variety and fun for up to an hour for younger kids especially. There are benches surrounding it that get some good shade for parents and pets, as well as a large, open field for people and pets to run around. There is no parking lot, but street parking is generally available. There is also parking at the school on the east end of the park when class is not in session. Certainly not a "destination" but a solid choice if you need a quick break for kids and pets to play.”

“What a beautiful place to get away for the day and be immersed in nature. The trails are nice and wide, and relatively flat so most could enjoy it without concern for great technicality. Just an easy amble through the woods. The path markers were very clear, and none of the trails were particularly long. This time of your everything is covered in a soft bed of moss. I highly recommend going while it is raining or shortly after. The dense canopy above immerses you in its colour, and song. It was very busy, but you can pace yourself to wait 10 minutes in between each person's start time, that way it feels like you're secluded. Can't believe I've never been! Well worth the drive :)”

“Fairly nice waterfront park in an industrial sort of way. Looks great in the winter and is good for ice fishing. And has a good paved walking and cycling path for the other seasons.”

“Visited today. Disappointing that many rows of tulips were still green and not ready to be picked. Had to do a bit of searching to find some with colour to pick so they will last a bit longer. You get 10 tulips included in the price of the ticket. If you’re looking for open blooming flowers or ones just starting to bloom, it’s better to wait until next week. Right now only the red and off white coloured tulips are in bloom. Being a big tulip lover and also being the first time at a tulip farm, it was nice to see rows upon rows of tulips even if they weren’t ready. It’s a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto so not difficult to get to. Since it was raining the last few days the ground is soft so appropriate shoes is important. We brought rain boots to change into so we could walk the fields with no worries. There are a couple of picture spots, a door, a frame, big yellow clogs and of the garden area. The garden had more flowers in bloom so it is a good spot to get pictures. Overall it is well done and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Just wish the tulips were more ready for picking and enjoyment.”

“Quiet, tucked away park off Arthur Street, better parking and entry to the park off Melody Trail. Love the slope heading down to the park! Would be great for tobogganing in the winter. The park could use a garbage can as there was some litter left my previous park users. Good monkey bars, fresh wood chips and four swings.”

“I have camped all across Canada and have to say this is one of the best places I've stayed. A very friendly and helpful staff. Well maintained grounds and immaculate bathrooms and showers. Good water and power and we had a perfectly level site with lovely willow trees and grass. Excellent lake near by for kayaking. Llts of nearby hiking trails. And even a village with "upscale" shops nearby if you like. Highly recommended and we plan on returning soon.”

“Went there for the Carnival in support of the Lions club It was packed but not to the point of being over crowded. One can't beat their burgers fries & corn Its unfortunate the the Friday fish fry replaces the weekly summer bbq that took place during the pandemic. A gr8 combo would be summer BBQ & fall/winter fish fry every 2nd friday”

“The perfect place for healing, growing, and learning. I would recommend the apprenticeship program to anyone interested in learning about horses or need a fresh start and aren't sure what direction to go in. The summer camp programs offered at the farm are educational, and provide your children with essential skills they can use in different aspects of life. The directors and educators (Karen and Sarah) are assets to the farm, and make all of these programs possible for the community. Thank you I CAN-T.E.R. for all the opportunities you gave me. I look forward to sending my son for camp in the future.”

“No tickets needed. Very awesome experience for kids to see wildlife. The zoo area is kept very clean and maintained very well. All the animals looked happy and kept lovingly. Nice grand walk to the pond and lake. Tons of ducks to see. The kids playground too has updated everything and is a joy for the young ones and their elder guardians alike. Parking does get full but can park along the road.”

“This was my first time going to Canada. I saw online, when I was planning my trip to Niagara Falls, that Niagara on the Lake was a must see. I have to agree now that I've been. It's a very beautiful place the flowers are so pretty and well kept. We walked around town and to the lake. The lake is very nice as well. Benches in the shade to sit and admire the scenery. I'm very glad we didn't miss visiting here.”

“A little gem of a park at the end of Vine Street past Lakeshore. There are always some people there watching the sun go down, and there is a stone wall for you to lean your bike up against and sit on. The air is so fresh, and it's just an ideal place; not too crowded, yet tranquil.”

“Everyone should hike the trails here at least once, even better in the fall. The lookout fog views in the morning at the upper part were spectacular. The scenery along the way descending to the river was beautiful. The river views were magnificent. The trails are rated moderately challenging, and they definitely are. The Whirlpool trail section was closed due to high water level.”
