“Definitely recommend stopping here for brunch, they have GF options and the food was tasty. I had a yummy ginger-mint lemonade, but the coffee was a bit stout for my taste. The space is a little tight not ideal for big groups but perfect for couples or small groups of 4.”

“Great little coffee shop hidden away. Great coffee. Owner was very welcoming and helpful with some restaurant recommendations as I’m only visiting. It’s actually more of a business space for the coffee company but they also make drinks with their own beans there. Cool vibe, chill place to get out from the cold.”

“The place was very great and I'll definitely be back when in Amsterdam! They've got plenty of tables with seata for the visitors to consume what they've bought from the coffeeshop and it's a friendly place where you can enjoy your stay that would make you feel relaxed.”

“Very interesting venue, it seems to be some sort of old bank. There is a table downstairs in a very private and bank themed setting, suitable for groups of 10 to 12 people. The food was good, but not outstanding. Wide and good selection of wines. If you come during a cold day, make sure to bring warm clothes as quite chilly inside. “The best apple pie that I’ve ever tasted. Very small area inside to sit and relax but anyway you should definitely taste whipped cream apple pie! Definitely recommend!”

“Stopped in while hiking back to the hotel just before closing. Professionally run shop, clean, comfortable, great menu, very good pricing, excellent cake. Hands down though, the star of De Kroon is the most handsome coffeeshop cat I've ever encountered. This dude is the boss of this shop and he KNOWS it. He walks around like the floor boss of a Vegas casino. What a tude this cat has. Hilarious. The staff here was great, and even though there were just minutes to close, they accomodated everyone in the most professional and courteous manner. A great little shop.”

“We only had two days in Amsterdam and we wanted to do what the locals do so we hired bicycles! We found that booking and paying was easy and the staff were really friendly and happy to answer our questions. We enjoyed our coffee and sweet before the ride and loved that there were racks of pre-loved clothes to sift through beforehand too! All in all, a very good service with fair fees and located very close to Central Station. We preferred to cycle out of the busy city centre and headed out along a path by the river to see a windmill and have a picnic lunch in a park. It was so good to be on bikes.”

“I visited Amsterdam recently and came across six and sons, what a great store. Staff extremely friendly and well informed on all the products and definitely found some great gifts. Highly recommended”

“Very beautiful, raw and charming store in Amsterdam. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A lot of cool bikes were on display as well as some historic jerseys. There was a wide selection of clothes (both womens and mens). It also looks like there is a café connected to this store where espresso is served. The prices seemed a bit on the more expensive side, but the designs were very good looking, in my opinion.”

“Very good tuna sandwich and very fresh orange juice. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a quick meal on the table bar overlooking the street outside and the canal. They offer lovely outside tables but it was very cold so we preferred to be seated inside”

“amazing and enjoyable place in every aspect! I had an incredible time there and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The restaurant has a friendly and exceptional ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. The hands-on beer brewing experience was so much fun, and adding my personal touch to the delicious beer was a unique and memorable experience. The food was equally outstanding. I tried the grilled chicken and the grilled steak, both were incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The lively atmosphere and enjoyable music added to the fun and excitement of the experience. I must also commend the service team, they were friendly and professional. They knew exactly how to make guests feel welcomed and were quick to accommodate all our requests. If you're in Amsterdam and looking for an enjoyable and innovative dining experience, Bierfabriek is the perfect choice. I won't hesitate to visit it again in the future. Thank you to the restaurant team for this wonderful experience!"”

“I know this is just a Starbucks but I visited when it was really hot in Amsterdam. Instantly on entering the AC was working wonders and the iced mocca was a treat. Usually I just pick up a coffee and leave as quickly as possible but on this day I was happy to stay for the best part of an hour. Thanks Starbucks.”

“One of the best beer bars I have ever visited. The pub has existed since 1985 in a house that has existed as a distillery since 1690. Always 18 beers on tap from all over the world and many bottled beers, always perfectly tempered. The staff really knows beer and what they can do. In addition, this wonderful, old furnishings. It is very pleasant that there is no music playing. You can have a wonderful conversation, stay there for a long time and enjoy a fantastic beer selection. If there were 10 stars, I would give them.”

“Good breakfast spot. It is pretty popular so you might have to wait in line a little bit, especially if you want to seat outside on a sunny day. The eggs Benedict with salmon was good. I personally feel that they could have put more salmon and Hollandaise sauce for the price. The eggs could be a bit larger as well. What they do it put everything onto one bun and leave the other bun lying next to the main dish. Obviously if they spread everything onto two buns, it would look quite modest. What I liked is that they serve some fresh salad on the side. The coffee was good but also a bit overpriced. Overall no regrets but I would probably try another place next time”

“Nice day, nice little Cafe! Server was extremely busy but was still very cheerful. I bought a sparkling lemon tea and was recommended the apple pie with cream. The apple pie did not disappoint at all. Wasn't there for long. Only stopped for a snack and to rest my legs but was a positive experience 👍”

“Amazing brunch options, more than enough variations with something suitable for different tastes. It is on the expensive side, but definitely worth your money. Plus the staff is really nice, the chef is very skilled. Fast service even though it is full all the time in the mornings and afternoon.”

“Small and cosy cafeteria. They have homemade cakes and muffins. The muffins are very good but I found the carrot cake a bit raw and with too many ingredients. 📝 Good service. The waitress was very nice 💰 Good price considering the location.”

“Little gem this is. Nice place to sit, relax have a drink and something to bite and watch canal and people passing by. Nice selection of beers and small bites. Curly fries were amazing- cooked to perfection 👌🏻 Everything would be perfect if not for not so nice waitress. Attitude 🤦🏼♀️🤌🏻”

“A wonderful dinner experience in an exquisite establishment in the heart of Amsterdam. Goat cheese quiche as starter to share, a steak tartare and a steak with mushroom sauce and potato pure along with a glass of red wine comprised our dinner menu during our last day in the city. Highly recommended. Reservation is a must.”

“Can’t speak to any of the food as our party stopped in to enjoy a coffee while we waited for a scheduled event. The hosts got us in immediately and the ordering from your phone with a QR code meant you could have minimal interruptions before, during, and after your food. The coffees were good and so was the muffin. Bit steep on price for water at 3,50€ for a small bottle so I definitely recommend going to a Spar or Lidl and carrying your own water with you. That goes for anywhere in this city. Overall, we enjoyed it and it gave us a good break from the wind while we waited. Really enjoyed it.”
