“Fantastic sandwiches. We tried the rib sandwich and the beef chuck sandwich. The rib sandwich was absolutely amazing, the ribs were slow cooked for over 18 hours making them really soft with lots of flavour. I highly recommend everyone to try it. The beef chuck sandwich was great too. The chimichurri tasted a bit more like pesto than chimichurri though, but nevertheless tasted great.”

“We found this amazing restaurant by chance when walking around. And we had the most wonderful dinner experience in town. The food was very good, we ordered a mixed grilled mixed with beef, sausage and chicken. But more than the good food here, service is definitely the highlight - we had a chat with the manager and he was so warm and nice person. Other staffs also very helpful and smiley. Everything made our dinner so perfect. We left with a big smile on our faces. Love it!”

“One of the best steak restaurants I’ve ever been to. We didn’t reserve our table. The staff welcomed us, took our coats and gave us a seat on a big leather couch next to a fireplace. The food came on a wooden tray and was served directly on it. We had short barbecue ribs and a fillet. Both delicious. They came with a jacked potato and a small salad. Perfect way to finish a long day of walking around. This restaurant is just off one of the many roads full of bars and clubs. It’s on the canal. Easy to get to, quiet, average prices. Highly recommended. Book in advance when possible.”

“Delicious food and cocktails! I highly suggest the Pink is the new black cocktail if you like sweet drinks. We ordered a la carte instead of the tasting menu and everything was delicious. Most of the dishes had a bit of a spicy kick so if you’re sensitive to spicy food then I will avoid. The serving was a tad small, the service was mostly friendly but we felt a bit pushed to order more food but we stuck to our original order and found it was more than enough for us.”

“Super place, excellent food and above all outstanding team! We were a large group so we got steak platters, duck platters, prawn, and salmon and everyone loved their meals! The cocktails were very creative and delicious and we all got cheesecake at the end which was lovely (could be a bit more creamy as a texture though but still flavors were great). The team supporting our table was beyond! Julian was the main person helping us but another team member as well, we didn't catch the name, but they were phenomenal. Super friendly, helpful, fun and authentic in their reactions so we loved them. The chef was close to our table and he was more than happy to serve us prawns which we thought were no longer available, even after we ordered something else. The team went really above and beyond to make sure we were happy, especially Julian. The place is good but, really, the team makes you more than happy that you visited. And the music is nice, I must add. Definitely recommended, especially for the staff!”

Whether sitting inside or outside, this place just has a certain feel and confirmation that you're in Amsterdam. Make sure you check out the back wall promoting all celebrities that have visited the Bulldog. Pumping music, live bands adding to the cool atmosphere. You need to pay to use the toilet, but it is worth the donation once you see the style. Be careful, though, after a few beers and smoke as stairs are steep. Enjoy this Amsterdam classic! We visit every time we come to Amsterdam and are never disappointed. 5 stars as always from me.”

“This was one of the best of my more recent dining experiences. Came here on a weekday dinner, and it was buzzing with a lovely vibe. The dishes are absolutely divine, with such a nice delicate mix of flavours in every dish, each better than the last. Definitely recommend the Balagan menu, so you get to try a lot of different dishes. And there’s a lot of food! The cocktails are creative with some unusually lovely creations. There is also a good selection of wines by the glass. The service is superb, waiters are friendly and keen to explain the dishes. The restaurant decor is modern, and it’s a nice open space with high ceilings making it a nice vibe. Would return again and again, and can’t wait to do so.”

“Unique and tasteful experience, highly recommended! The restaurant sits central in Amsterdam and easy to reach. Immediately when you walk in you feel calm and welcome. This is because the music in the background plays decently and is being supported by the nice atmosphere created by the light and shadow effects. Our waiter Michu provided very enjoyable and friendly evening. The atmosphere was great. We would not have thought about asking for more. We ordered the Videotype and the 3-Wine menu to go with it. The food was nothing but amazing. The serving of the wine matched perfectly with the dishes. We liked the duck and the seafood soup the most but to just to point out: Evert meal was unique and tasty. We give the resturant 5/5 because the "creations" tasted very good, the atmosphere was awesome, the restaurant has a great look and the waiter was super friendly! The price to performance ratio is a 1:1. By that we want to say that the experience was worth its price. The restaurant is a must-see for those who like to experience the Asian kitchen on a different level.”

“Small cozy place with authentic ramen made with care! Ramen: I had Tonkotsu ramen. The soup was very good, (mix with garlic oil spot on)! The noodle was amazing, my fav part! Handmade, fresh, and not too soft, just the way most people love! The cha shu were so amazing. Full of umami and tiny burnt on the edge from the grill. Beans sprouts were very crunchy. All the ingredients were very fresh and nicely prepared. Have to say, one of the best ingredients I’ve had among the tons of ramen I’ve ever had in my life. Fried chicken (Kara-age): crunch outside and juicy inside! Takoyaki: nicely prepared, I’ll give it a 7 outta 10. Cocktails: I have a Paloma. Pretty mediocre, can use some extra kick or spice. Atmosphere: cozy, very small. Decoration very Japanese. Staff: very friendly :) Always came to check on us. Food is served very fast.”

“Having tried a lot of dim sum in multiple places in UK and around the world and from the perspective of a HK person, this restaurant is worth a visit as the dim sum is definitely of a good standard and some of they do some dishes which are quite hard to find in your average dim sum restaurant. Service was good for a Chinese restaurant. I quite like that the dim sum is available all day up until closing. Just remember to call up to check when the kitchen closes as they do stop taking in customers when the kitchen has closed. Some of the dishes are also overpriced. Overall, a decent choice for dim sum and I would come back again.”
