“The most fun I had as a tourist in Amsterdam wasn’t biking around the downtown center, nor was it at the red light district. It was spending an hour at the Knife store, looking at knives, chatting with the store attendants, and seeing the passion in their eyes as they explained custom knives, swords, and knife mechanisms. I felt free, and at peace. It’s an amazing store with amazing people, take time to chat and explore!”

“The owners are Koreans so I really do trust them with their cooking. I highly highly recommend their Rosé Tokbokki, really creamy and spicy, perfect for chilly days. I also really like how the restaurant themed with Korean vibe. 100% worth the money!”

“As a chocolate lover I have to say that this bonbon store is one of the best. Super nice varieties of chocolates and flavors with delicious flavors. It’s a super nice idea for gifting someone, however the price could get a bit pricy, but in the end u have to pay for good chocolate. Staff are helpful and super nice.”

“The variety of candles and scents is so great that it is difficult to choose: Yankee Candle, WoodWick, Maison Berger Paris and many other good brands. The staff's service guides you to the right choice, which helped me a lot. The place is very elegant and the owner of the place is kind. I recommend!”

“Never been more happy with a purchase, came in to the store and the workers were all so lovely and helpful, spoke to them (particularly Sasha) for ages and they allowed me time and flexibility around all factors of the purchase I made. Can’t recommend the shop enough from design to service, will definitely be coming back!”

“Cute coffee shop in the center of Amsterdam, but on a quiet and picturesque street. The coffee was great - we got oat lattes and espressos. They also had some goodies to go with the coffee (vegan banana bread, oat cookies, cheese cake servings). They offer coffee courses and so the seating isn't always available but when it is, the seating is comfortable and pleasant with a steam punk vibe.”

“Cute design and quiet atmosphere. Ham and cheese croissant was more like an empanada which was good not quite as expected. Raisin sweet bread is good but warming it up would be recommended. The new employee didn’t seem sure how to handle foods and didn’t use gloves and placed the foods on the counter.”

“Absolutely gorgeous place down a little side street. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. The cheese selection is amazing, and they have plenty out for you to try, along with the cheese dips that they also sell. I think we ended up spending around €150. They also do lovely little gift sets. Which is where we spent our moneys. I will visit here every time I'm in Amsterdam for sure.”

“Spent half an hour here yesterday while exploring the city and I could have spent hours more! Such a wide selection of comics and manga, in a store that is packed full of character. Prices are a little high perhaps, but finding a store with such a wide choice is so rare that I am more than happy to pay a bit extra!”

“I'm always so excited getting my order and waiting at the window for the truck. This time, like the ones before, I got wonderful pieces which are so unique! I don't know what I would do without rerags... Thank you to the team which must have much knowledge and work to sort all the clothes!”

“Beautiful little shop with an absolutely beautiful selection of fine cheeses, meats, olives, ect. I always get a ham and cheese baguette to go - literally the best sandwich I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly! As you round the corner onto this block you are greeted with the smell of delectable cheeses goodness. Step foot inside and treat your senses to an experience they won’t forget. You can sample the cheeses and everything is cut fresh to order. This local spot is a favorite of mine and you absolutely need to add this to your must-try list!”

“Literally stumbled over this nice patisserie/cafe when we had some time in Amsterdam. Their fresh sweet pastries and cakes are looking like art and i was blown away by their macarons and coffee. We will come back when we visit Amsterdam again. Additionally their staff is really friendly and is fluent in English, so all tourists should find a helpful person here.”

“A MUST GO kids clothing store!! The first time I’ve been in Club Cinq in The Hague, I’m very glad that I saw this store. Unique shop and with very accommodating and helpful staff. So I also visited the Club Cinq store in Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam. So much great clothes to choose from. They also have shoes and accessories that is perfect for any occasions or even for a normal beautiful day that the kids will surely love to have. I can say that this is one of the great kids clothing brand that I know. Definitely gonna visit there again. Two thumbs up to the owner Kathelijn who’s behind of all this designs and genius ideas! 👍🏻👍🏻”

“This Asian/Chinese supermarket has better prices than the competence in the neighborhood. The supermarket chain has consistent quality in the frozen and fresh products. I would argue that this, smaller shop, should optimize better what it sells. I rather have more food than cutlery or bowls that you don't buy everyday. The food I haven't tried, as I am not a fan of microwave cooking style.”

“I was in Amsterdam for a conference and I needed to print my poster in A0 paper size. I contacted Printerette via e-mail the week before the conference, and Marco was very quick in answering all my questions and providing me with a quote. When I arrived in Amsterdam, I simply went to the store to pick up my poster and pay. The communication was quick and smooth, but more importantly, the poster quality is astonishing! I was a bit worried about the print quality as it was an important conference I had to attend, but I am super happy with the result! Thank you Marco for the great work :)”

“Situated on Gelderskade between Stormsteeg and the Waag at Nieuwmarkt, Wah Nam Hong are food wholesalers, importers, distributors and retailers with branches in Den Haag, Leidschendam and Rotterdam. Although predominately Chinese, this good-sized toko also offers a good selection of canned, dried, frozen and fresh produce from India, Indonesia,Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Phillippines, Thailand and Vietnam. The supermarket serves the needs of many of Chinatown's restaurants and is a favourite haunt of foodies and gourmets in search of elusive Asian ingredients. The entrance to the premises always features 3 or 4 "bargains" of the day, products which have been substantially reduced from their recommended prices. The main hall is full of deep freeze units packed with snacks, poultry and meat, fish and shellfish, dimsun and vegetables, desserts and ice-cream. The surrounding walls are full of shelves packed with biscuits, confectionery, canned goods, curry pastes, cooking sauces, teas and all kinds of noodles. In the adjoining area, there is a huge assortment of spices, hot sauces, vinegars and oils, oriental sausages, kroepek, emping, tropical fruit juices and fresh vegetables, as well as incense, tiger balm, health products and a limited assortment of cooking utensils. Goods can also be ordered online with free delivery on all purchases over €35.”
