“Beautiful grounds. Very vast open areas. Could do with more dog poo bins and toilet blocks. Had to walk ages until we found either. That aside very good grounds for dog walking.”

“Hylands is a lovely park. There is a variety of things to do and see. It is beautiful in the summer, horse and carriage rides, ice cream and a fun park. They host fantastic events, I have attended the 3 foot tall festival, easter egg hunts and an outdoor cinema here. The only negative is that the toilets near the castle park need upgrading and are always dirty.”

“Good coffee, NOT too expensive BUT NOT cheap either at The Stables Cafe!! Worth going though; remember going to Hylands Park back in the 80's - when I was in my teens and have been back since!!! Love the park and have been going there for walks and coffee the last couple of weeks on Tuesdays, and loved it!! Beautiful park, fresh air and get air in the lungs whilst if you want - having a brisk walk and otherwise!!!! And did you know at Hylands House - they used this in a film as an extra for ' The White House ' about the government in United States of America!!!!! Worth a look; please do go there because it is a beautiful park and one final thing - this is where they held ' The V Festival ' and now ' The Rise Festival '!!!”

“Lovely structured garden. A little bit more upkeep would make it 5☆. Shame the Scout Totem had to be cut down.”

“Stayed at campsite which is a certifificated location for the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Fresh water, chem disposal, toilet, shower (£1/5m). Looks like they will have pot wash soon.”
