“This is a great park for a picnic, walking, jogging and disc golfing. Lots of shaded areas and a small creek (hardly any water due to limited rain right now). Visitors have access to restrooms which are clean with a few lockers (ladies' restroom). Nice playground for the kiddies that includes a water splash pad.”

“This place is a gem. Not too far from birmingham and not crowded at all. There are picnic tables and so many spots for enjoying the creek. You can get in the water as it's not deep...maybe2 to 3 feet max. There is no lifeguard so be careful with little ones always. But creek current is not that strong. Lots of sunshine. It's part of a park so several hiking trails also. O entry or parking fees. This is a must see.”

“This is a great place to walk, swim, or picnic. Beautiful and protected species too. Mind the rules though because there's plenty of them and a ranger to strictly enforce them .”

“Turkey Creek is a great park to visit. Ideal for family picnics, hiking, biking, or just sitting outside enjoying the beauty of nature. The park staff is very friendly and help, a great team. The park stays clean and well maintained. Whether playing in the clear water or hiking you have a nice time here.”
