Access to lots of great hiking
Lots of great trails and scenery ?
This trail is well maintained, neat, safe and a beauty to behold. I usually take a firearm with me on mountain trails, but its not needed here. I saw lots of bikes, dogs and kids. Not to mention that the view is also phenomenal. A+
Plenty of parking, many different trails to pick from, and a good view over central/southern Anchorage
Very well maintained trail head, with restrooms before setting out on a journey of beauty

Oct 08: Prospect Heights Trailhead. Prospect Heights Trailhead. Wolverine Trail, Anchorage, AK 99516, USA.
I started the Wolverine Peak trail from the Prospect Heights trailhead, taking a left at the Powerline Trail and following it up on a gradual climb on a wide, hard packed trail. It was pleasant walking, till I came to the intersection with Near Point (straight) or Wolverine Peak (a right).
