“First time to Alaska so we took the time to go site seeing. Bison hall was a good choice. First, it's only an hour from Anchorage. Second, the drive down is beautiful so that 1 hour ride took over 2 hours. Great outdoor facility with animal enclosures. Took a funny photo of a black bear in a dead tree. Gift shop available. Check it out.”

“I usually really dislike visiting other churches while out of town. And while the music was very different from what we are used to at our church (we’re from the south)……the preaching was life changing! This preacher has the touch of God on his. My daughter and I were very moved….if I lived in this area I would make this my home church.”

“I had heard good things about this place and stopped to go in today but there were 3 employees smoking cigarettes in front of the business. Gross. I left. You might want to smoke someplace else. Smoking is a disgusting habit and indicates poor cleanliness as well. Restaurant is probably dirty.”

“Kind, compassionate staff. Hard working nurses and genuinely caring administration. PT is out of this world. I have worked in health care for many years and have never worked with such conscientious staff before. No one ever wants or plans to need skilled nursing care, but if it was to happen to my own family or myself, I would not hesitate to recommend this facility.”

“If all you need is a quick passport photo, it's tough to beat. I had my picture taken within 5 min then waited 10 for the photos. Yes it cost $14.99, for 2-2x2 photos, but their software checked it for acceptability, so there should not be any problems. Convince costs, but not that much.”

“About 7-10 moose inside a large fenced area in a setting surrounded by glaciers, water and mountains. Such a beautiful sight on glorious day in Alaska!!”

“The absolute BEST preschool! Miss Naomi and Miss Shera are fabulous! My daughter knew all the continents and all the planets at 3 years old! They make learning so fun and they do the coolest activities....they washed fresh wool, dyed it, spun it on a wheel to make yarn, and then made bracelets! They grind their own flour and bake with it, and grow fruits and veggies to harvest and eat as well! I wish I got to go there :)”

“You won't beat a good handwash but this is second best. Fully touch less and the monthly pass is worth it if you always have to have a clean car. After 3 or 4 washes it's already paid itself. In the winter I go 2-3x a week and it's totally worth the price. Even if you go 1x a week you'll be saving money over paying for a single wash. They've been upgrading all the bays with better equipment and new wash plans. I haven't used the new wash plan because I'm grandfathered into the old pricing plan. Use the bathroom before you come and bring a snack. It can get very busy as you can see. It's 2nd spring and ever bay at 4-5 cars in line.”

“I recently took the basic riding course with Allie and Carly as the main instructors, with their dad and Rick assisting. Their instruction was the perfect blend of being firm, friendly, fair and frank. I felt safe at all times. As someone who has never ridden a motorcycle before, I was surprised at how well the curriculum flowed and how quickly everyone in the class learned. Even if you’re not interested in getting licensed, this class was was a fun and entertaining was to spend the weekend I recommend to anyone wanting to learn a new skill!”

“Very nice conservation center with spacious enclosures for the animals. We truly enjoyed our time there. You have the opportunity to ride or drive to see the animals. We drove through first and then walked. Spent over 3 hours here and could have stayed longer but had to start our drive to Homer. We were there at the right time to hear a concert of howling by the wolves. We loved seeing that all the animals were well cared for. Staff were helpful and informative.”

“To say that my experiences with flying, airports, and airlines and all that's involved is not as much fun as it used to be is an understatement to say the least. As a matter of fact, at 87, it has become something that I dread, and to be avoided at all costs. That is, until yesterday, when I escorted an elderly lady, my girl friend, to her flight from Portland, Oregon to Philadelphia on Alaska Airlines. We were greeted at the Alaska Airlines counter by an attractive, smiling, woman , who radiated, to our surprise, a very pleasant and helpful attitude. She, her name was Stephanie, went out of her way to help us with troublesome luggage, that had to be re-packed, and our own elder confusion with the flight details. This was patiently done during a busy time with a lengthy backed up line of people waiting behind us, Stephanie was relaxed and did not make us feel stressed or hurried because we were holding up the others waiting in line. She not only relieved our apprehension but made our day as we left smiling. She obviously likes her job. If the rest of your employees are anything like Stephanie I will think of Alaska Airlines if, or rather when, I choose to fly again.”

“New place in town! Friendly grocery environment with great variety of fruits and vegetables. Love the fact that they’re working with local farms and sourcing some exotic tropical fruits. You can find fruits like dragon fruits and papaya here. They also sell fresh squeezed juices here (didn’t have a chance to try it yet) Will be back! Fruits and vege looks really fresh!”

“Wow, this place is amazing! I love the interiors - so bright and cozy. Music was a bit loud but that’s ok. The service is quick and the waitstaff is friendly. Th food, 10/10! We ordered oysters, steamed mussels, salad, and a bowl of clam chowder. Everything’s fresh and delicious. Glad we get to dine in here before we head out to our next destination.”

“A Wonderful Couple we are Blessed to have known as Friends for decades found this little place and treated us to it. We liked it very much indeed. They have a little area large enough for two nice sized tables and chairs, enclosed in glass so you can see outside and the entryway. One wall has an electric fireplace that the lady who was running the show turned on, with the heating element on low, to keep our wife's warm and cozy...that was very nice indeed. Huge choices of combinations of yogurts and goodies to embellish your individual creations. Waffle cones, with or without chocolate dipping, are just one of the options and sizes. You are charged by weight, not the cup size, which is an excellent idea. Great Product. Excellent Staff. Everything was clean. All in All...Very Nice Indeed.”

“The food is phenomenal. Their selection of flavor, amazing customer service, and ambiance and open sunlight makes this place just the choice for wings. I tried their Cajun, Lemon grass, and Korean flavored wings and they hit the spot just right. The garlic fries marks the tastebud beyond belief. If you love rice, get a side of rice with your meal. Being of Filipino roots, the rice was the perfect side. Highly recommend for all to try. Locals and Tourist. Last note. Their ranch was very well blended.”
