“We went to the Kenai Riverside Resort for an off site business and team building retreat. Our guides, Jim and Kevin, were outstandingly excellent in the attention to detail, cordial service, good equipment, helping us find plenty of fish in a fun and safe way. The delicious shore lunches at the resort and fire pit made for a rejuvenating experience after hours on the water. Jim also helped us to organize float plane charters to remote destinations and deep sea fishing out of Homer. Our guides, Ion and Mike were extremely experienced and made our group feel comfortable throughout the entirety of all the canyons. The gear is all new and kept me completely dry from neck all the way to my toes!!! Which I was shocked and grateful for. The scenery of this river is absolutely to die for. We saw many animals along our way, so not only did we raft class five rapids, we had a sightseeing tour as well! Ion knew the name of every bird and creek we passed. (Blown away at his ability on all levels.) Will absolutely return again.”

“My car threw the timing belt and I was stranded on the side of the road between Cooper Landing and Sterling. Ken came out right away and towed my car back to his shop. He was up front and honest about the possible engine damage and costs to repair. It was completed quickly and at a fair price. Plus I love that he is local for me and I didn’t have to call someone from Soldotna. Thanks Ken!!”

“I don’t know what an “authentic Alaskan experience” is, but I do know I’ve never seen a place like this in the lower 48. Beautiful little cabins with virtually no management visible. Check in and that’s it. Enjoy the quiet - except for the creek right next to the cabin. Can’t see the road, not that it matters. Might be a car every 30 minutes. No lobby, no 24 hours coffee, no check-out! Drive down to Grounds for Hope for a cup in the morning. My daughter begged to stay an extra day. Special kudos to Jonathan for working so hard to make us feel welcome.”

Even provided coffee, & breakfast cereals. Washer & dryer available. Young couple own the home & are very friendly & helpful. Made visit to Hope, AK even more enjoyable.”

“The Resurrection pass trail is very well maintained along the roughly 4.25 miles from the Cooper Landing trailhead to this forest service campground. There is a metal bear box about the size of a typical cooler which was really convenient for food storage. The campground has a few spots to put tents spread out through the area. There were a lot of spots we passed up because of roots or slope. The campground is elevated on the bank of Juneau Creek, just upstream from the waterfall so you can sleep listening to the rushing water. There is a good spot to get water from the creek just a few yards away. There is an open air pit style toilet / seat with a nice view of a mountain.”

“June 19, 2022 we went out for a full day of fishing on the Kasilof River. Our guide was Brian and I can't say enough about this guy. He was patient, an awesome teacher, a wealth of knowledge and hilarious! We were the only couple with him which was a highlight in its self but there was plenty of other guides out fishing were we were. But we were the only people to max out for the day, so that tells you he really knows how to read the waters and how the fish move. Unfortunately, due to current regulations and laws, we couldn't keep the King's we caught but we got the experience or reeling them in and how to properly release them back into the waters. We highly recommend not only going with this company but request Brian!”
