“The most beautiful park in the heart of Verrado. Lots of great activities here scheduled often. Christmas time is the best time with activities and beautiful decorations. The Christmas Tree is outstanding. Ciao Graze is close by with a great view of the park. Fall and Winter has a Farmers Market in Sunday’s. Great place for pictures, family fun or a nice quiet picnic.”

“Greta hiking, tough riding, but excellent bike features and nice views.”

“Hopefully they open this developed picnic area to overnight camping in the near future, I'll give it 5 stars when they do. Located a few miles South of Robins Butte Wildlife Area when heading South on AZ85. Numerous sites with shaded tables, BBQ's, restrooms. There are a couple easy hikes up the hills to get a decent view of South Buckeye and the White Tank range. Only a few miles away from the Buckeye RV & Boat Storage makes it a convenient location for a quick day trip.”

“Nice little place for the kids to hang out at. They pool, park and skate park all right next to each other. Super convenient. I appreciate that so the teens that I've seen the don't mess with the younger kids just learning. They just let them do their thing there. My kids were really nervous when we first got there but we're quickly put at ease when they were welcomed to skate too.”

“Mark and all of the staff are phenomenal. Everytime I take my family up there or if its just me and I encounter any of the staff everyone has been super nice. Whenever I play basketball and there is an issue with it getting dark to soon or vice versa and the basketball lights are not in sync ,I give Mark a call and he never hesitates to take care of the problem promptly with the utmost courtesy and respect. The park is kept clean and well maintained by staff who know how to do their job consistently. Great Job everyone!!!”

“Visiting family from out of state. Came here for family night on Thursday from 7-9pm. Kids had a great time. It was hot like 109 but inside the pool felt great. There's a slide and 4 diving boards. There's the snack bar, plenty of seating and all the lifeguards had a great tan. Will be coming again next time we visit in summer.”

“A diamond in the rough that is getting brighter day by day. With new additions from a giant lake, to basketball courts to everything you can imagine. Right now you have a dog park, 3 baseball fields a playground and 2 volley ball courts. The next year will be amazing and grow and become more and more beautiful. I'm exicted to see the new addition and growth that this will bring to our humble community.”

“I love this park!! It has hikes that lasts for 2 hrs and anyone you choose the trails are marked so all you have to do is enjoy the view knowing it'll take you right back to your car. It's my favorite because it gives you challenges while not killing you.”

“Ready for night time gatherings! Hawthorne Park is just a stone throws north of Homestead Park. But while the latter is geared towards kids, Hawthorne Park has mom and dad in mind. The center patio area has strings of lights that provide a soft glow in the evenings. At on side of the patio is a unique feature among Verrado parks, a real firepit. Bring your own logs and a beverage to enjoy the cool evenings with friends. Additionally there is wall seating and a round dinning table with chairs. A 110 outlet is also available. A trash container and pet waste bags are available. I love this little park and wish we lived closer to it”
