“We needed 10 pizza's made quickly last Friday. Luckily the Gig Harbor Pizza Hut opened at 10:30 am, this allowed them to make everything for a 11:30 take out. Then I was able to make it to the construction site for lunch to feed a 15 person crew. Thanks Pizza Hut for making this happen for a business owner, I tipped the staff generously.”

“Love this place! AMAZING service, great food, HUGE portions, great drinks, and cool vibes. They have cool, local art hanging around the restaurant available for purchase by customers. The food is delicious. I ordered the nachos and got a great deal because it was happy hour. I showed up five minutes before happy hour was over, and was still able to take advantage of happy hour prices. The shredded beef was so good, and my plate was very hot. Also, the salsa? Talk about authentic and DELICIOUS. I wasn’t sure what to drink, so my server, Cella, suggested this drink comprised of whisky, Red Bull, and tastiness. It was amazing. The music was good, service was excellent, parking was easy, and the vibes were RIGHT. I love this place after one try, and will definitely be visiting again soon.”

“We loved this spot for breakfast on a Sunday morning! Every staff member we interacted with was SO kind and helpful. Even though they were busy, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside. The food was great! My husband loved the biscuits and gravy + country fried steak. I had the beggar’s omelette, sans mushrooms. I also upgraded to a side of pancakes for $0.99, which was worth it. My only little complaint is that my husband asked our waiter if the country fried steak came with gravy on it, and our waiter said yes. Then when it arrived, it did not have gravy, and we were charged an extra $2.99 for a side of gravy to put on top of it, which seems a bit expensive. My husband was happy with the food though, so not a huge deal. Now we know for next time. We will definitely be back!”

“My only complaint is that I haven't tried this place sooner! I live about a mile away from Golden Valley and have been meaning to give it a try for several months now, but today I finally have it a shot and I couldn't be happier! Everything about my experience was exceptional! The gentleman who helped me over the phone and when I went to pick up was very kind and friendly, even behind the mask, you knew he was smiling! The portion sizes are remarkable for the price and absolutely delicious! I got the lunch order of the Beef and Broccoli, my normal favorite, and everything was cooked perfectly! The broccoli was nice and soft with just a little crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and so tender, and then the sauce was the best part!! I'm always hesitant to try this at new places because too many restaurants have their own variations of the sauce, but Golden Valley was spot on and I couldn't get enough of it!! Just from that alone, I'm hooked now and will be coming back frequently! I also ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein and couldn't believe how full the to-go box was filled with my son's favorite noodles! Both entrees were delicious and a big hit with my very picky four year old! Thank you Golden Valley for such a satisfying lunch (and dinner tonight from all of the left overs), but also for being open for take-out during all of this COVID-19 craziness. Their rice is super delicious and I usually switch my salad for fries (I know, not the healthiest) because the fries are absolutely phenomenal. I’d almost go just for the fries. Loved my experience there and they topped it off with complementary baklava. Great place. Worth a visit. As a heads up, the plates are quite sizeable so maybe share a plate with a friend or may I recommend the Gyro combo.”

“I can't say enough about this place. I LOVE their food and it is always consistent. Don't let their tiny little shop fool you - the food is fantastic. It isn't the big fancy restaurant they used to have with the barbershop quartets and ice cream cones, but the quality of food is the same. I get their pizza every time I come back to AZ for a visit. There is a small area to eat on site, however take out is just as good. These people work extremely hard to satisfy their customers. On a typical weekend night be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes for your order if you order upon arrival. They are busy for a reason! LJs is a local secret and you are crazy if you choose a different pizza place in Mesa.”
