“For what I seen while I was visiting a girlfriend of mine. This place is cleaner than some of the higher class hotel/motels. It was bland and plain but the burgundy curtains with the coal black rod weaved through them gave it some class. Floors were sparkling clean and wall and ceiling didn't have blood or other misc. on them at all unlike some much higher priced and rated ones. Parking lot was kept up and it was nice and quiet. Everything else was normal for this type of motel. But because of the care and cleanliness I give it 4 stars. Well above average.”

“I only come here for the Community Patio Sale, we live in a gated community in a 2 story 3000 home, but have been thinking about selling and getting something smaller. After reading ALL the comments here, I can say that this is definitely not the place we would even be considering. Management seems to be a common issue. No thanks. “We came to Vall de Oro on February to escape the cold weather in Reno NV. This park is run by Cal AM Resorts and is our 3rd time at one of their resorts. This is an RV Resort for 55 and over folks. The place is huge as they have approximately 1600 spots. This park has RV spots as well as park models so feels more like camping in the suburbs. The resort is well maintained and there are lots of things to do. They have large pool and spa, pickle ball and tennis courts, a baseball field, ball room, and many hobby and craft rooms. They bring in entertainment and have live music most nights by the pool. There are also horseshoe pits and Bocci ball courts. They hold RC car races and have a huge model train track that they run. If you are bored here it is your fault. The RV spots are quite large but they do not provide picnic tables or fire rings. Every site has full hookups with 50 amp service but be aware the hookups are at the very back of the spot. They do provide wifi and it is fairly good throughput the park but we were in spot 1773 and our wifi was very spotty at times. If you stay here for a month or more they charge you separately for trash, sewer and electricity. They also do not take credit cards so be prepared to pay for things with cash or check. One other thing to know is this park located right next to the 60 and 202 interchange so there is always freeway noise. You also get noise from Ellsworth and Southern that run alongside the park. Basically the park us surrounded by busy roads. The park is dog friendly and they have 7 dog parks. They do ban dogs from around the clubhouse areas and 2 streets back from same so be aware of this. We plan to stay here again.”

“I’ve been staying here with my sister for the last two years and I am impressed with staff and management. The manager, Rick, is helpful, informative and friendly. The park is kept clean and I love the peace and quiet at night. The neighbors are friendly and I feel safe here in this small community. My little Dachshund loves the dog park which is kept mowed and green. Finding good management and staff is unfortunately, rare. I am 77 and I lived in parks on and off over the years. Rick is one of the few managers I’ve met that is efficient, professional and kind.”

“Great park area. Plenty of parking. Had numerous places to set up with tables and grills. Nice hiking trails along the cliff and rivers edge. Had the opportunity to see some of the Salt River Wild Horse herd today. Beautiful animals. Just wish people would remember that they are wild animals and wouldn't try to get o early close to them. People spooked several of them away while trying to get closer.”

“This place is actually awesome. I gave 5 stars because of the area size and price , plus comfortable and quiet. We have a nice clean well kept pool. Clean Laundry facility and full kitchens and they even had a few dishes silver ware, plates and a couple cups , frying pan and a pot . I haven't had any issues at all so far so good. The Owners are reasonable and respectful. I am enjoying our stay so far . No bugs and my room is clean and comfortable. . . Good for longer term stays.”

“We've been there several times. Had a room by the hot tub, nice rooms. They were under construction other times. No biggie, I understand updating the place. The courtyard area is beautiful, get a room there if possible. The bar is great, awesome bartenders and great people to talk to. We've had rooms updated and prior to updating, all in all, not a bad place. I love the patios the most, it's a great place to relax outside with a cigar and a drink.”
