“June 23, 2021 at 1pm. One of the crew was cleaning tables as I walked in. Everything was clean. Their “high table” has two power outlets 🔌 and two USB outlets - convenient. Friendly, courteous, professional. I had a coupon for a double cheeseburger, fries and drink for only $3, which was taken without any caveats. She did ask if I wanted anything else, and whether I would like any sauces. 🍔 🍟 🥤 I was one of only three people there during my dine-in experience. “BY ORDER OF THE KING Face masks are optional if you are fully vaccinated. “We were looking for some dinner after we realized how late it was, and decided instead of driving to Filibertos (our usual late night Mexican food) we’d try Federico’s for the first time, after reading some of the reviews. From our first experience: The service was friendly & prompt. However, we asked for pico, not knowing this wasn’t included and weren’t told there was an up charge of $1.99 until we got to the window and were paying. We had just pulled out of the parking lot while checking our food, since one of the only/biggest complaints here is botching orders, and noticed they had forgotten the pico we paid extra for, and gave us 2 sauces instead of 4. Other than those two mistakes, I’d say the food was pretty great! I ordered the carne fries, and they definitely beat out Fili B’s carne fries hands down. My husband prefers the crinkle cut fries, while I prefer regular fries, which is what they serve here. That’s really up to preference— but the flavor was great and the hot sauce had a nice kick to it! My husband got a chicken taco and a beef taco, and said the beef was better than Fili B’s, and while the chicken he felt wasn’t terrible it wasn’t his favorite, it was definitely more generous when it came to the portion. Overall, not bad at all! If we need a last minute and/or late night dinner and are craving Mexican food, we’ll definitely hit up Federico’s from now on!”

“Great service and great food. I started going to this location as soon as they opened in about 2005 or so. Back then they gave really good service and the food was good. They are still giving good service and the food is great. This location has always had good service and no issues. The scorpion pepper burger is good. It was spicy but not as spicy as the voodoo sauce that they used to have.”

“Hi everyone! I was in the mood for some Mexican food, decided on this place because of the reviews it has. And let me just say the food, customer service, and employees did not disappoint! The food was really yummy. The sauces were spicy and fresh and so were the carrots. The burrito meat was tender and not over cooked to the point where it is charcoal black (I have had this experience at other Mexican restaurants). So was the taco meat. It seems to me that the food is made fresh to order. I am extremely pleased and will be going to this place again!”

“We arrived at a quiet time and were greeted by a pleasant server. Breakfast is served all day, and my friends each ordered breakfast for lunch. I enjoyed the clam chowder and a tuna melt. Both the soup and the sandwich were hot and full of flavour. The server was attentive and thorough. They did a great job keeping our coffee cups full and engaged the table frequently. “This was my first time visiting. You walk in the door and the smell is amazing! The display case makes you want one of everything! The staff was very friendly and helpful and service was quick. The chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing and peanut topping was divine! And, the Apple Fritter was one of the best I've had! I visited around 11am and they tasted like they were 6am fresh! They also have Boba and Vietnamese coffee. I had the iced Vietnamese and it was delicious! Highly recommend! They advertise as best donuts in Phoenix, and they deliver on that claim! “First visit on a Sunday afternoon for child’s birthday party. We all had a great time. The food (pizza, fries, hot dogs, sliders) was excellent & served at proper temperature. “My daughter & I ate at the bar for lunch because there was quite a long waiting period for this popular restaurant. My daughter got chicken strips & I got the country fried steak with cream gravy. The food was delicious! I also had a frozen margarita with sugar & salt on the rim & this was fabulous! Both of our servings were quite large & we were not able to finish them. It took longer than expected to get our takeout order but the employees were nice and friendly and I could see they were hustling and trying to keep up with the rush. Even with all the people (several of which were complaining about the length of time), our food came out great! We were missing one side of sauce but thankfully we have the sauce at home, so no biggie. I was pleasantly surprised that my ahi tuna sandwich and onion rings were cooked to perfection.
