“My wife and I ate here while on vacation from Wisconsin. We took my wife's sister and my brother-in-law who live locally but had never eaten here. The place has a nice decor. We were happy to not have to wait for a table on a Saturday night, but then we realized that the place was half empty. The menu had an unusual combination of cajun and Japanese foods and the place also had elements of a sports bar as if the owner doesn't know what they wanted the place to be. Three of us had different mixed drinks and all of us were disappointed. The one who ordered a beer was happy with his selection. We had some appetizers, crab-avocado which was very good and some crab cheese puffs which were average. My wife only had a seafood salad which she didn't enjoy. The other three all had some boiled bags. These were excellent with either shrimp or snow crab, particularly with the garlic Cajun sauce, after we eventually figured out how to order. The menu had lots of typographical errors. Even though the place was not busy, our food and drinks took a long time to arrive. Our waitress was very friendly. This restaurant has potential but needs to figure out what it wants to be. My in-laws don't expect to come back.”

Also I had the 2 shredded beef tacos for only $2.50 and hubby had the $2.00 nachos. I've never had a poor menu item everything is good!”

“Yes I would return and yes I recommend. Good tea and smoothies for a hot afternoon to cool you. So many local boba tea places it's hard to choose one, but I definitely enjoyed this one. I had the Peach oolong tea, and my friend had the Taro smoothie. Yum! Very busy, but also extremely quick service making the wait very short. Clean and cool AC inside. They also serve other snacks and I will return to try them.”

Was never give the price but when the bill came is was far less than I expected. Friendly atmosphere but dark in nature really a dive bar type of feel. Four out of five would recommend.”

“This was a really cool experience! It’s almost like a speakeasy for sushi! From what I understand, you must have a reservation or know someone to get in. When we got there it was roped off with a red carpet rope and a bouncer in front. We told him who we were coming to see and they came to get us and brought us to our table. The service was good, the waitress was attentive and everything came quickly. We ordered a few different sushi dishes which were all tasty as well as the mozzarella sticks. We also got a bottle of sake to share and it was really smooth! Potent, but flavorful and smooth. We went during happy hour so the prices were great too! I really liked the decor and there was pretty low lighting throughout. Next time I’d definitely like to try the karaoke!”

I usually go for think, soft pizzas so I was happy to find that their pizza is soft even if it isn't loaded. My friend ordered inside and waited a while for takeout to be ready. “Best carne asada in the sinaloa style in Phoenix so far, the guacamole is in the exact way it should be for being a sinaloa place, while the red and green sauce are mild, the flavor of the meat and the freshness of the Pico de Gallo(all brought up to your table in a tray ,for your own convinience) and ambience ,makes you feel(at least in my case) as if you were right in the middle of your hometown in sinaloa. The staff is attentive, the portions are big (these are not your typical tiny tacos you find everywhere) , and the prices are affordable. They have several other styles of meat, and served in quesadillas ,vampiros ,etc, not just tacos . Definitely a place to eat at, if you want great food.”

“Five stars does not even begin to do George's Famous Gyros justice. The gyros platter is piled high with the best meat I have EVER tasted. The shrimp salad is a meal for at least 2 or 3, the shrimp are cooked perfectly and the dressing is to die for. They have a mad scientist in the back making corn fritters like you have never tasted. Then there is Katie, and she pulls the entire show together. She keeps all the customers happy with her wonderful smile and personality, while making sure everyone has everything they could want and describing the wonderful food.”

“First time here and it was great! Decided to try this place out after seeing the reviews. The inside is really unique with its decorations. Large menu and some great deals for each day of the week. Large portions for the price! The meat was all very flavorful and not dried out. I had the enchiladas and the sauce was just like I hoped for. Not spicy or too sweet. Only complaint was it was a bit too hot inside. The thermostat looked to have the heater on and it was 87 inside. Other than that, I’d definitely come back again.”

“First time trying these. I like it. I try the spicy 🌶️ but is not spicy lol 😂 I bought a sauce $0.35 cents I didn’t like the sauce. They call you number when your order is ready. I wait like 10 min. Since I’m counting my calories I asked for nutrition chart they didn’t have it and it doesn’t have it in menu neither. I would suggest they add it. “We ordered a create your own omelet and and a Country Boy breakfast bowl! Delicious!! The serving sizes we pretty big and filling. This place is pretty popular and gets busy. We arrived around 10am and waited about 20 minutes for a table for 2 but it was well worth the wait. The servers and staff were super nice and friendly. The food came from the kitchen hot and in a timely manner. 👌🏾 We will for sure be dining here quite often!”

“We have been frequenting a lot of restaurants in Cave Creek stopped in for dinner at Heart & Soul. We thought the restaurant was closed, we've driven past it before NOT realizing that the restaurant has 2 entrances. One is the saloon side and I'm not sure what the other side is called. On this night, we almost kept on driving by again, thinking that the "saloon" was closed. Once inside it was a nice surprise to see that the band was warming up. The restaurant had a limited menu, I wish I would've been able to take a picture, the selections were AMAZING! We decided on a wedge salad with a side of chicken, wings, and a BBQ Burger. The food was amazing!! We will have to come back to try the unique pizza selections, yes PIZZA at a saloon. We were very pleased with the service, overall a 5-star visit. And the band was okay. Give them a try if you're ever in Cave Creek, it's worth the drive if you don't live near the restaurant!”

“Cute little mom and pop type of style restaurant. Always seen it growing up but i finally went have herd good thinsg from family and friends. Its very authentic and eveything is very lightly seasoned like how my grandma used to cook. I got the chile relleno that had a yummy crisp outside with a nice cheese. I also got the caldo de res & it was very natural and light not to greasy that i love. My mother got the chilaquiles verdes with two sunny side up eggs and they were phenomenal !! Its very affordable & laid back. I’m used to a bit finer restaurants but this is very old school damily authentic.”

My lunch served as my dinner too as all those calories must really add up. The only downside we had were the tables could have been better cleaned up.
