“If you are visiting Arizona this is a must stop!! This is my first time back to Colossal Cave since I was kid. The whole family took the Ladder Tour and our Tour Guide Everett was the best!!! The drive down was beautiful. It was very easy to find and had plenty of free parking. The nature trail was short and sweet and it had a gorgeous view. I highly recommend the Ladder Tour for children 12 and up. Everett made the tour so fun and had so much patience for our kids “million questions”. We learned so much and left feeling excited for our next trip back. Thank you Everett and the gift shop attendants for your kindness and help.”

“A truly special place in Coronado National Forest high in the Rincons. There is truly no easy way to get there. It's at 8000ft elevation with no road access. There are campsites and a Ranger Station with some seasonal water spigots and a small horse stable. It's 15miles one way and 6000ft of climbing from Loma Alta Trailhead.”

“Pre Spring is a pleasant time to camp overnight at the Douglas Spring Campground - We were fortunate the spring had gentle flowing water - Nights are cool - Definitely pack warm layers and thermal socks”

“I really wish the garbage cans would be emptied prior to a reservation. They are always full. The bees were aweful. Otherwise it's a beautiful park and fun to celebrate special occasions there.”

“The Rincon mountains are one of the most beautiful places around Tucson. Plan you trip intelligently. Ask the rangers for reports on the various seasonal water springs. Plan your trip during a time when water is likely (after recent rain/snowmelt) or plan to carry all of your own water. This place is remote, it's great! The campgrounds provide bear lockers and even toilets. For how remote this is, I respect the work of the rangers who maintain the campgrounds. Pack it out, and keep these mountains pristine.”

“It was a good hike in the canyon. Be sure to just bear left the whole way. A nice little area of trees and water and high bridges. Even some nice bright green grass and algea.”
