“I dont know why it is only a 3 star hotel. This place is a very nice, and very quiet, and the staff is very nice. The only problem is that the rent is not what is advertised, but, i paid the extra $$$ with no complaints. This hotel is awesome. Very worth it. I suggest stopping in.”

“Great place to stay if you like a little off the beaten path. Pat is a great Host who is a pleasure to visit with during breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area. And our dog loved the walks down the gravel road 😊”

“Interesting remote RV park on what appears to be a former mining area? Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly spots. Some are full hookups, some are dry camping. Community center, trash dumpsters, washroom showers, central fresh water spigots for the dry campers. Seems to be an interesting community of folks that return year after year. Staff was very friendly even to those that showed up without a reservation or prior notice. They found us a spot for a couple nites per our needs. Cell signal is poor for TMobile and Verizon, slightly better with ATT. RV area is rolling ridges and steep sections, this is not a flat RV park. The access road from paved hwy was 7.9 miles of washboard sandy dusty dirt so be warned.”

“Could this area be from a foreign planet? This camp spot has NO amenities. The sign on the way in reads ‘no dumping’. The road into the campground is narrow. Big rigs should grab one of the first spots. The further back the spots get smaller. Great sunsets. Low light pollution yields great star views. Several types of cacti here. Like a dense forest. The cholla are the ones to steer clear of. Nasty hooked spines! This is BLM land. As such, there is an active target practice range to the West. If that puts you on edge, best to go elsewhere.”

There is a basketball court, playground" bbqs, and on the Pantano Vista side, a quick 3 minute drive, there's another heated pool, very nice, with chaise lounges, showers and a beautiful landscape to boot. “Clean, spacious, lovely and well decorated. Conveniently located near the freeway and lots of good restaurants. Speaking of food, the breakfast was first rate!! Nice (smallish) outdoor pool and (very hot) hot tub where our kids had s great time swimming and splashing around. I A few minor complaints. First, blackout curtains did not completely close and let too much morning sunlight in. Second, the shower head was lousy. Third, they had no mattress protector for the sofa bed. (Fortunately for everyone, our toddler had an accident-free night!) Still, a really good place for a family to stay. We’ll be back!”

“The Arizona Retreat Center is unmatched in the facilities (beautiful design and high end finishes) and amenities (infinity pools, fire pits, hot tubs, etc.). Most of all, the setting is truly inspiring and rejuvenating. In my time in Arizona and elsewhere I have never experience serenity and views quite like those at the Arizona Retreat Center. The mornings are peaceful and quiet and the sunsets each evening are breathtaking. No matter where you stand on the property, you are immersed in the natural beauty of the land. I highly recommend visiting whether for corporate retreats, personal holiday, or a celebration.”

“For what I seen while I was visiting a girlfriend of mine. This place is cleaner than some of the higher class hotel/motels. It was bland and plain but the burgundy curtains with the coal black rod weaved through them gave it some class. Floors were sparkling clean and wall and ceiling didn't have blood or other misc. on them at all unlike some much higher priced and rated ones. Parking lot was kept up and it was nice and quiet. Everything else was normal for this type of motel. But because of the care and cleanliness I give it 4 stars. Well above average.”

“I was there for a night shooting stars but ran into a cloudy + thunder storm night. Definitely be back. My 2nd review. Spend a night by the boat ramp for Milky Way shoot. Perfect !! Despite a "little" light pollution from Mesa-Phoenix and Globe, the sky is clear and I got a few shots. Highly recommended for fellow astrophotographers.”

“This is not a 5 start hotel... So you can't be a snowflake and stay here! This is a good, upstanding hotel. The owners/front desk are awesome people and will reasonably commidate you. They are friendly and always in good spirits. The beds are comfortable, the AC works like a champ, and aside from the interstate, it's a quiet place. The TV system/channels could use improvement, but the point is to rest/sleep.... Right? The place is clean... I've been in 3 different rooms....ALL were awesome. I recommend this place especially to truckers! Thank you America's Best for a quality stay!”

“Great prices no crime. It's a shotty little park but it is a pretty good place to live no kids no dogs. Management asks residents to keep quiet after 8pm out of respect for the neighbors. The park has on-site washers and dryers open until 9pm. Overall 5 stars not for the look but for the comfort. Thanks A&F”

“The service was absolutely AWESOME front desk female glasses. we had something in common the both of us came from Nevada. She was absolutely professional, and all smiles explained any and all. If we ever need to go back, we will. We had two queen beds, a microwave fridge with coffee maker and a/c was superb. Awesome access to the 87 AZ202 and A101.”

“My family of six has stayed at this resort each April for the past five years. During that time period, there have definitely been constant improvements, but I have to admit I have never encountered anything like the reviewer that found the accommodations so awful that they left the next morning?! Yes, the sleeper sofas are not that comfortable, there were a few stains on a few of the dining room chairs, but otherwise, everything is extremely comfortable, extremely clean, and the decor has been updated in each of the five units we have stayed in (two bedroom units and three bedroom units). I love the peacefulness of this resort, the 17,000 acres of hiking that is right outside any door of the property, and the comfortableness and well-equipped units. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly, highly recommend this resort. However, if you are looking for resort-directed activities, this is not the place for you. Lots to do around the resort, but the resort it QUIET. Yet we have a 5 year old and a 14 year old and they both really enjoy this resort.”
