“Stop here for an amazing view of the canyons and river. It is perfect for pictures and just stretching your legs if you've been driving for a while. Very convenient trash cans here if you've got too many fast food bags leftover from a road trip! make sure to not vandalize the spot as so many others have, enjoy the fresh air and view!”

“I love it. The volunteer was very helpful and informative. Incredible photography of local wildlife and very clean. What a wonderful gift to the Southwest to have such a nature-conscientious organization volunteer-run and supported.”

“The museum is a beautiful building with huge saguaros and other cactuses in front. The displays are interesting and informative about all aspects and periods of Arizona history. The displays are set up on such away that families would enjoy them. Also enjoyed a special exhibit of photographs of homeless people in the Phoenix area along with their stories. Very meaningful and insightful exhibit.”

“We had such an exceptional experience here. The two veteran fire fighters helped make our experience extraordinary. These veterans work here. My heart was touched they honor the fallen fire fighters and the hero fire fighters including paramedics. This place has been established in the valley since the 50’s. I will now consider this one of our valley treasures. It is definitely worth the $10 admission. Thank our God there are people who give their time resources and treasure to make this spectacular venue possible. My favorite story is why our fire trucks are decorated so elaborately: it is because of the friendly competition between the teams. Just add a little competition (it is welcome in all venues: to make it better).”

“A MUST GO attraction if you are in the Phoenix area. Gorgeous desert garden, with various plants & cacti blooming. Very interesting & educational to learn about an entirely different ecosystem. Lunch at the cafe was delightful w/ delicious salads, etc. & great service. Look for the Chihuly art glass installations in the garden around cafe. Be sure to go early, take hats, sunblock & water if there during heat.”

“This area is best accessed from the 5802 E. Indian School Rd. parking lot. Climb up the stairs to see the SRP Energy signs, then take the stairs down again. By the falls, there were some concrete cubes (presumably seats that you can sit on), however it was too wet to sit on any of them. The falls have 2 sections- one is a gentle cascade that falls over a rock wall and then in front you have to 2 falls that face each other on opposite ends of the bank. The falls were the huge waterfall I was expecting, but still a nice view. Downsides were- the area by the falls was wet, looked drab in colors, and the water fountains did not look too clean to drink from.”

“It was very well cared for and maintained. Like many of the other types of museums here in Maricopa county, it taught me some interesting facts and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.”

“It doesn’t look but i believe this house is amazing. Unfortunately it’s for sale and I didn’t see anybody there. Before you plan to visit make sure you can go inside. One of the most especial design of Frank Lloyd Wright with amazing ramp that leads you from the ground to the roof. Unfortunately there is not enough landscape around the house but I hope new owner makes it better.”

“The house is beautiful from outside, but it looks like it had been closed for some time for public since April. No exact info on website. You can not even walk around the property. I wish I can visit inside as well. But still 5 stars because I admire Frank Lloyd Wright's creativity.”

“Enrolled my daughter in a week long summer art camp program here and she loved it. The instructors and staff are friendly and I was surprised by the amount of drawings, paintings and sculpture she accomplished during the week she was there. She is excited to come back next summer!”

“This museum and archaeological park is in the midst of the City of Phoenix (close by is the airport). It is an interesting and informative exhibit for all ages, about the life Hohokam people from AD 950 to AD 1450. The museum has indoor exhibits and an outside archaeological village which you follow through pathways. It’s so interesting to see how life was so many years ago. As one exhibit expressed - the Hohokam lived among the mountains surrounding Phoenix, that still exist today. It takes about 1-2 hours to absorb the museum and well worth the time for a step back into history..”

“A great place to stretch your arms and legs. The bridge is amazing. And so much faster than it was before. And with the freeway going around boulder city it's a lot easier and faster. It took over two hours and now it's like ten minutes. So much nicer.”

“Completely fascinating. Don’t miss the 15 minute guided tour, if you get the chance. Worth the trip!”
