Allen asked how I drive the Jeep and I discussed the style of off reading I normally do, he recommended a couple of different ratios and gave me the benefits of each. I chose 4.88s, we scheduled up an installation time, arrived on the scheduled time and he had them swapped out in no time. It’s great having a local business so close where you don’t have to drive to Oakland to give money to the corporate shops. I highly recommend Allen and Four Wheel Drive Specialties.”

He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and explains everything in detail that needs to be done. I have never in the 15 years I’ve been a customer had to bring a vehicle back because something wasn’t done correctly. I had a recent experience where a shop told me I needed $1,600 worth of repairs. Took it to Walt and it turned out to be something completely different, and far less expensive. The $1,600 repair at the other shop wouldn’t have even fixed the real problem. An honest and competent mechanic like Walt is gold.”

They patched my tube like in the old days, but it had multiple holes, and so I had to go home on my spare to get another tube. The service was outstanding, very competent people. 40 years in business says enough. I will definitely come back with all of my old car/truck tire needs.”
