“I bought a whole flat box of peaches, nectarines and plums at the end of July. I let them pick a range of totally to almost ripe for me so that when I brought them home, we could enjoy them for a good while. Yes they were all “seconds” w very minor blemishes. But boy the flavor was PRIME. I shared w my neighbors and everyone agrees, best fruit we’ve all enjoyed this year. The Friesens stand folk said these have never been in cold storage and I believe them because it was all there in texture and on my tastebuds. I wish this quality were here in San Diego. But would it have been a special discovery then?”

“Besides the offering of homemade sweets, pies and Harris steaks, there's a lot of lovely trinkets and home goods offered here. It's not stuff produced by the ranch (except for maybe the cowhide products) but it's got something for everyone. The staff is also really friendly. Both times we were there they were running a 50% off post holiday sale, which is great for any bargain hunters. We always make it a point to swing by here when we visit.”

“Quirky house in a quirky place. Àmazing sunsets from the helipad. Nice hikes. China peak is nearby. Two families stayed, with kids aged 13, 12, 10 and 10. It was perfect for our 3 day weekend. WiFi at the inn was a must since mobile connection here is spotty. The area was pretty hard hit by the 2020 Creek Fire. Amazed how secluded Big Creek is despite the power plant. There is an unfortunate hum from the plant turbines. Bring you own food - the drive to Shaver isn't an easy one.”

“Great little place on the way to the National Parks. The room was small (double queen) but very well maintained and it looks like they were recently refinished. And most importantly the beds were very comfortable. My five year old daughter loved the small pool (note, its surprisingly deep which is fun but also requires more attention with small kids). The rooms included a mini fridge and microwave which both worked well. The sink faucet was a little loose and the shower got plenty warm but not really hot. Nothing I'd mark down for as they both functioned well and were clean. Overall: It's not fancy, but comfortable, well maintained, and perfect for the price! I would absolutely stay here again.”

“What a great experience! Too often dentists offices are very impersonal and rush to get people in and out. Right from the beginning I noticed a huge difference in this dentist office. Each staff person I spoke with introduced themselves and were extremely polite and personable. The hygienists were also very nice and extremely accommodating. They took the time to make sure I was comfortable and were very personable while also maintaining professionalism. The icing on the cake was the chap stick before they propped my mouth open and the personalized music! Nice touch. Dr. Molina was extremely professional and took the time to explain everything prior to starting. The procedure went very smoothly and quickly. I had heard good things about Dr. Molina, and it was definitely worth the drive up from Fresno. By far the best dental experience I have had!”

“It's been years since our last visit and the steakhouse is still THE place to eat at Harris Ranch. It was our anniversary and they went all out with the table setting and menu. It was very sweet and we loved it. The food is just as we remember, too. All well seasoned, not overcooked and fresh. The only change is that they no longer offer items from the Ranch Kitchen, so no burgers. Our waitress was also super nice and made sure we were never in need. Even if you're not passing through or staying at the hotel, this is a restaurant worth driving out for.”
