A beautiful campground in the hills near the Kern River. Our group camp up for 3 nights to escape the heat down in the valley. The campground sits around 6000 feet so it's easily 20 degrees cooler than down below.
The campground has flush toilets and hot showers.
The campground doesn't see too many visitors and is a little gem in the hills.
I'll definitely come back!
Take to Kern County pass lake Isabela going to Greenville and toward greenhorn mountain alta Sierra Back on Sequoia National park.
A very lovely park in camp Yenis Hante is just wonderful. The trees the quiet the nature and the music in the greenhorns is exquisite. Wonderful place to visit on hot summer days to get away from the sweltering heat of the low lands.
Was up here for work so my visit was job related. Quite a beautiful spot. Looks like they have cabins up here, but not sure if there just for summer use. The cabins looked snowed in. It was very quiet up there with a low amount of traffic.
I just loved being surrounded by nature. Trails were good. They gave you a good workout 💪 It was hot but became a little cooler the higher you went. Be sure to take your water bottle with you.
