“Nice park, gated entrance, spots were level cement with full hookups. The spots are a trifle short for a large RV, but we managed. Looks like nearly the entire park is pull-through, and a lot of semi-permanent residents. There's not much to Bakersfield, but it's a good place to hunker down for a day or a few, or if you work there for the long-term.”

“This is a great hike, but my post is to alert others about **CAR VANDALISM**. While I was gone hiking my car window was smashed as was the window of another vehicle. It was around 2pm, broad daylight. I have seen broken glass in the parking lot on previous visits, so I know this is not an isolated incident.”

“If your car got wrecked this is the place to go! So happy that I drove by this place and decided to stop. Had 2 claims on my truck and the repairs had it looking new again. He even fixed my bumper which wasn’t apart of my claims. Fast work and affordable. They handled everything with my insurance and even covered my deductible. “One of the few Texas shaped swimming pools in the world. This historic (50 year old) pool is listed on the National Registry of Historic places and is a gem. Great place to take a day trip and chill by the pool. Lifeguards on duty. They also rent it out for parties. Birthday parties are a huge success here. You can also catch “Elizabeth Swims” the YouTube star swimming here sometimes.”

“I love this park but no lighting in the mornings when I walk it is very dark and unfortunate some people have to do their daily walks in the mornings. I have complained to several workers but noone can figure out what their position is, some are only yard some cut grass and other do sprinklers but I guess noone does electrical because those lights have been off for the past 4 or 5 months .”
