“I've been staying or living on and off a long time in Star Motel or other motel hotels on Okeechobee Rd...I conceived in this Motel and was pregnant here at a young age even worked at Stonewall Lounge while living here.The place is better than a trailer park and there are some really nice rooms and the owner whom I've known since a kid growing up in Miami Springs and playing in his house...really cares and goes above and beyond to help his people.Just don't burn the bridge with him and you will always have a place to stay on a cold night or hot day...provided you can put up with the Security Guard...lol and they have a room.”

“I was very surprised to see how clean the interior was. It must have been remodeled recently as the flooring, cabinetry, toilet and counter tops all seem to be new. Also, there is a Mexican restaurant a block away called taco nazo which is incredibly inexpensive and fresh. I would definitely stay here again.”
