“We have never had a bad experience at any Winchell's, but we really loved this one. It was pretty late at night and we wanted donuts. We thought because of the time they may have only stale ones. I was wrong. They were fresh and the glazed were warm. Some of the selection had been removed because they don't sell stale donuts, but there was still so much to choose from. We bought the 14 donuts for the price of a dozen. The man working there was so kind and sweet and even helped my grandson open the strawberry milk he just had to have right then. You will love this place.”

“I have been here a few times. First time was a normal MCDONALD'S visit. 2nd time they were out of ice cream (in the summer). Third time the wait was over 30 minutes, orders were not placed right and tables were all occupied. Most table were booths, which is nice, except for the fact that most people are on their own and there is not many choices for individual goers. There is a shared parking lot with the rest of the stores in the street mall. And of course there is a drive through.”

“One of the only really decent coffee houses in this Wilshire Vista neighborhood. Not cheap, but they have a happy hour from 4-6 and actually sell some decent pints of beer as well as that California staple of avocado toast (tasty here and a bit different from regular avocado toasts). They have an anti-laptop policy so please note that before coming that it's not a good place to work. It's a good place to meet friends or grab a coffee or a pint with business contacts and connections.”

Tbh though... the coffee isn’t really that great tasting sometimes even being just bland. Some of the seats and tables hinges are also missing screws and have been that way for awhile, too. If at least the seating could be fixed to be less crooked that would be awesome.”
