“This popular worker-owned cooperative in Atwater Village knows how to make pastries. Their croissants get pretty good marks on my scoreboard: flaky outside, moist inside, with a nice buttery taste. A little bit on the light and soft side, but that's all I can nitpick. Other items I've tried are on point too, including za'atar croissant, ham and cheese croissant, savory scone, and canelé. That said, I got bored after a few weeks going to Proof. However nice the staff seems, the vibe of the bakery is that of a business, not of a neighbor. There is always one staff member behind the counter to prepare the order, and another person at the cashier for the payment. The streamline process inadvertently makes it harder to initiate a meaningful, personal interaction and makes the experience more transactional. At the end of the day, when the pastry is long gone, there is little left to remember.”

“I was drawn into the Crystal Matrix Center by the magnificent display of crystals in the window. I’ve never seen such a cool collection of spiritual things. While inside you really do feel the difference in the air. It feels good spending time in here and there are so many beautiful things it would take more than a lifetime to appreciate all of them. Each type of crystal is said to have different properties that promote everything from raising your self esteem to promoting better sleeping habits. I think if I were to wear some of this awesome jewelry my self esteem would definitely go up 😅😂 My favorite thing is seeing the crystal skulls here. They were playing spiritual chanting music, the smells of sweet fragrances filled the air. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They offer classes, meditation and workshops as well. I’ll be back here soon:)”

“We wanted to repaint a very old dresser but didn't want to go through stripping so we looked up places to buy Chalk paint. The only place that carried this paint was Boho Epicycle in Los Angeles. We drove to L.A to see the paint and talked with Krissy Arora. She was very helpful, Knowledgeable with the paint & we bought the paint & a few other things in her store. She told us how to mix the colors so we would have the exact color we needed to paint our dresser. “Active coffee shop that uses primarily counter culture beans. The whole beans sell pretty quick and they replenish often, so there is always a decent chance you'll be buying fresh beans. Roast dates usually within 7 days. Free coffee duck with a bag. Their drip coffee is quite good. Try out the cold Brew cardamon, nice spin on some already good coffee.”

It has so many delectable flavors and you can add any type of protein to it. Chicken, chicken salad, tuna, etc. It's got the right amount of flavors to it. In addition, they have daily baked goods and cakes as well as a full bar and several options for you to have your dinner or drinks. From the Lounge couch to the chairs outside to the bar as well as the raised tables. Their menu has a wide variety of items to choose from. And vibe..... so awesome!”
