“Went with dear friends here for their charming New Year's We've celebration this year! It was fun and different for me and I really enjoyed how people were friendly and inclusive. We danced and danced, both before and after dinner. They had a delicious selection of appetizers upon entry out in the main gathering area, a no-host bar and complimentary water beverages. People could mingle and snack before the doors opened to the actual, lovely dining area. Inside that area there was a stage, a DJ and great entertainment. Kid and family friendly celebration! Dinner was a serve yourself buffet with classic Persian offerings. I loved it! Yum 👍 I will note though, if one wanted an alcoholic beverages for that magical midnight hour toast, you'd need to go out to the no-host bar and purchase whatever you wished to toast with... No complimentary bottles of the bubbly provided 🤔 There was no downside, security was evident, parking was ready and safe and it was a fun evening and warm way to usher in 2020!”

“Attended a service at Temple B'nai Hayim recently and was struck by the genuine warmth and welcoming atmosphere. There's a sense of community here that's hard to find elsewhere. The Rabbi delivered a thoughtful and enlightening sermon, making ancient teachings relevant to today's world. Whether you're deeply spiritual or just seeking a place to find some peace, Temple B'nai Hayim feels like a sanctuary in every sense of the word. Definitely considering becoming a regular.”

“I like the calm, peaceful teachings and inclusiveness of this temple. They don't pretend to be anything they are not. Congregation is friendly and welcoming. They stress being a better person. You will hear a lot about impermanence (and suffering because you are holding on to impermanent wishes as all humans do) as well as interconnection (and the improbability to get your life to be what it is). Minister, as well as most of congregation, is of Japanese heritage and although I'm not, I have been welcomed. I'm learning a lot about not only this sect of Buddhism, but also about the Japanese-American culture around this church. Bring your eye glasses as there is always something to read at service (service book) and at study group (handouts). This is a no pressure sanctuary that asks you to think about how to be more contented and gives you teachings to help you get there.”

“Beautiful Temple, and wonderful services. The Canter has a beautiful voice and got us involved. The Rabbi involved the congression with their views, and related them to a biblical story. There was a baby naming, a wedding announcement, and a beautiful batmitzva ceremony. Great Temple.”
