“Thank you for creating such fluid and life-like bronze sculptures! We love to snorkel and have been fortunate enough to see in person, octopuses and leafy sea dragons in the Great Barrier Reef. We had admired a few sculptures of both species by other sculptors. Once we found yours Kirk, we had to have them. Since we are located in San Francisco where Kirk is based. He delivered our sculptures personally to save us from any shipping. They truly bring back so many good memories for us! Thank you.... Kindest regards, C”

Angel Island

Address: Belvedere Tiburon, CA 94920, USA

Transit station

“It's a great historical hiking place for its beautiful view of the bay and historical sites along the way. But winter is probably not a good time to come, as the cafe and some of the sample rooms are closed. We've heard it's a great place for backpacking too, but the 10 sites are all booked for weekend camping for the next 6 months which is crazy.. So if you really want to book one, unless during the weekdays, you have to keep a close eye on it whenever the week becomes available.”

“What a beautiful place! We had the pleasure of visiting this place and doing the 5 mile hike. Tue view is stunning and it seems like a fun place to bike. We took the ferry from Tiburon. Round trip was $15.00. I would highly recommend this park.”

Angel Island Café

Address: Main St, Belvedere Tiburon, CA 94920, USA

Cafe

“Pull pork burger was deliciously greasy. Just the thing I wanted after a nice long hike at angel island. Caution it might be a bit too greasy for some people but it was great. Their nacho and Frito dishes come in huge portions too. Great for sharing with friends unless you are really hungry. Price is similar to that of an eatery around the pier. Not as pricey as I expected for this being the only cafe on the island. Minus one star for all the flies at the indoor sitting areas though.”

Angel Island East Bay Sites

Address: Belvedere Tiburon, CA 94920, USA

Campground Park Lodging

“There is water and a very gnarly pit toilet available. Site #2 is great for several tents whereas site #3 is a great view. (I didn't visit site #1). Site #3 has a great view of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco but there is very little flat ground. For this reason I'd suggest #2 if possible. Regardless of specific site, you will be sharing the campsite with raccoons. The staff recommends leaving your tent unzipped while you're not at camp because the "raccoons will get inside it one way or another" and "it doesn't matter if you have food in your tent or not".”

Angel Island State Park

Address: Tiburon, CA 94920, USA

Park

“Had a great time here with my wife. We hiked the North Ridge + Sunset trail loop. The trails are well cared for and were not too difficult. The total hike took us just under 2 hours but we were moving fairly quickly.”
