“This is my favorite place to get gas in the Truckee area. Reasonable prices compared to in town. There is a small convenience store perfect for getting a small snack for the road.”

“Boca was a great experience! We stayed at site 16. It had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, perfect distance from the bathroom, and an amazing spot for stargazing! It’s close to the highway, about 5-7 mins. I didn’t have much phone service at the sight with Verizon, but my partner did with AT&T. I definitely recommend for a quick getaway or family vacation!”

“Car camped in the Tesla here. Cost $55 to rent a spot for the night. Woke up with a full charge and refreshed & ready for my next day of the road trip! Love this car! RV spots are great for EVers!! ❤️🌈”

“Fun, quirky art done with amazing precision. Great place to find those unusual pieces of wood or metal to add to your own work.”

“Unfortunately we came when the snow was still on the beach. Bathrooms and trash bins weren’t accessible because of the snow blocking up the way to them. We did play in the snow for a bit. while we came all this way to enjoy the lake view. We made the most of it and took some photos of the site. We’ll have to come again when the snow is cleared up.”

“We heard about it and decided to see what its all about. Its off season but still beautiful. The family and i got to adventure into the woods on some hiking/biking trails for some fresh air and also find a geocache along the way. Lots of fun on the back patio and the kids all got to pet a horse that was walking by. Will definitely be back here soon”

“Really quiet place and friendly attendant toilets are way cleaner than the average gas station. Also has wood for sale didn't buy any just saw the sign. We didn't try to get water either but it says it's available.”

“Nice quiet little loop, very spacious campsites. Might have trouble with a big rig here, pull off areas are a little small. No services, but the gentle breeze kept us comfy all night. Close to Truckee and 80”

“Beautiful sites and scenery. We had a double site for $50 a night. No discounts with passes. I don't see how two campers could occupy that site except for tents ,camper vans, and small motorhomes with no sliders. However, we loved our site with full lake view. Great camp host made friendly rounds and delivered firewood. We did a lot of off road bicycling. People active on kayaks and paddle boards.”

“The photo is site #27 and it's very close to the water. Many other sites have better shade but a longer walk to the water. I like this campground for several reasons. Close to highway 80 but no road noise at all. It's not too hot in the summer and the lake is a great temperature for swimming. You can ride a dirtbike from camp to the nearby ohv trail system. Lastly, it's just remote enough that you can probably get a site here for an impromptu trip.”
