“When dining in at Bourbon Steak Orange County, you are in for a real treat. The restaurant is located just to the left when entering the hotel lobby of Waldorf Astoria Monarch - Dana Point. We had an 8 pm reservation, being sat at a table that wasn't our favorite, not much of an ocean view unless you were on the outside balcony. We have an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The service and staff were amazing! Melissa, our waitress, is extremely professional and knowledgeable! If I could give more than 5 stars to her, I would. The food presentation and flavor were great. Wagyu beef is highly recommended. This is a place to go any time you want a great steak paired with excellent service. Not cheap but worth it.”

“Great bar food. We had the nachos, tortilla soup, and bbq chicken flatbread. All were very delicious and reasonably priced given the location. They don't take reservations, so great for an ad hoc visit when you're struggling to figure out what you want to for lunch. The view is excellent.”

“This is by far the best French bakery in all of California! The food is authentic and delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. The setting is large and spacious and accommodates bigger parties. Their main form of seating is outdoors but usually the weather in California is awesome and so sitting outside is no problem. We got the Nutella crêpe as well as the croissant sandwich. We also tried the fresh squeezed orange juice and the chocolate croissant. The entrées and pastries are out of this world. Every time we travel to California I always make time to go to this bakery! There’s just nothing quite like it!”

“Some work colleagues and I ate here because it’s a nice halfway point between San Diego and Los Angeles. AVEO is one of the few dining options for non-resort guests. We made a reservation via Open Table and had no trouble with being seated. The service was great! My colleagues and I were generally happy with our food. The truffle fries were delicious! The dessert portion is rather small. It is a bit pricey for what’s offered, but we expected as much given the location. We enjoyed a lovely view of the resort grounds and the ocean beyond it from the patio. The complimentary valet parking was great. I was in a bit of a rush to return home, and they brought back my car quickly.”
