“My husband loved Cafe Cup. And I wholeheartedly agree. Friendly and very attentive staff. Cannot say more about how enjoyable it is to have great wait staff who actually enjoy their jobs, work together and care about what they are doing. The food was always fresh and well prepared. Never a complaint or issue. Fresh cut fruit. Great portions. Local eggs. And vegan meat options. Usually not a big fan of home style potatoes but these were great. I wound up ordering a side of refried beans and they were really good (we came back several times during our week in OC and I ordered the beans every time). Regular and fruit syrup for your pancakes, with specialty flavors posted on the wall... pumpkin pancakes anyone? And three kinds of fresh salsa plus Tapatio and Cholula on the table... I mean cummon y'all, that's doing it right. And the coffee. And the Italian Espresso and Cappuccino machine. Perfect. Sad to say I was always so fast to dig in I don't have great pix. The burrito is their mini burro with eggs, potatoes, choice of meat with a side of usually potatoes but I chose the beans. So great and very reasonable price. They definitely have huge regular portions if you're so inclined. My husband enjoyed the steel cut oatmeal, the pancakes, and a few other options on our many morning trips. But forgot to remind me it's cash only. Remember: CASH ONLY. atm available. I forgot more than once, was only a $2 fee, not too bad.”

“My dive instructor in San Diego referred us to Ruth for guided dives in Catalina and I'm SO thankful that she did. Ruth is a PRO, with over 2,000 dives, she has an expansive knowledge of the dive sites and all the wonderful creatures we saw. After talking with her on the phone, I knew I would feel comfortable with her, and when she met us at the dive park I felt like we were already friends. This was our first dive outside of certification/refresher classes so we are complete beginners. Ruth was patient and went out of her way to help us navigate our rental gear and helped us with our buoyancy and weights. It was really cool that she was willing to help us become better divers, along with guiding us through the underwater kelp forest world. We visited with the most amazing animals down there (oh, the giant black sea bass!), and afterward she answered all the questions we had about the animals. Both dives were such beautiful experiences, and we felt safe and stress-free. We were originally thinking of signing up for a group tour with one of the local dive companies and really glad that we did private tours with Ruth instead. Totally amazing and will dive with her again next time!”

The first class I went to got me out of my comfort zone and had me thinking about out how soon I could make it to another class. I finally settled on doing a Brazilian blowout to help tame my hair while still retaining its natural texture. I was a bit hesitant since I don’t like doing too much stuff to my hair but my stylist Sandy did a great job. I wished I had gotten one sooner. I got a decent deal on the Brazilian and was expecting some issues with the quality. But even weeks later after my appointment my hair is much more manageable, much less frizzy, and has a nice natural shine. Thank you Sandy!”
