“Had my first ever surf lesson here with Cesar, and the whole experience was great! I called in the early afternoon, and an hour and a half later I was in the water and standing on a wave! The owner was very nice on the phone, and facilitated everything nicely. I will definitely be using them again next time I'm in town!”

“I love visiting this gallery to see what new pieces have been added. Our home is a mixture of art styles, and my husband and I both love the piece we bought for our family room. It is very easy to work with Bridgette Shaw. She respects her customers opinions and is friendly and informative but never "pushy".”

“This quaint little hotel is a hidden gem. If you want to relax and get away this is a great place to do it. Beautiful ocean views, friendly staff, immaculate grounds and steps from a beautiful beach. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place. Food was also fantastic.”

“This place has been here for a long time. I have been going here off and on since I was younger. It's a hippie taco place. There is a smoke shop right upstairs. I think sometimes the people working at taco loco are high. But it doesn't seem to affect the tacos. They always taste the same. The prices seem to go up every time we eat there. The shrimp, lobster, swordfish, and veggie tacos are the standouts. The guacamole is good on the tacos but I think the salsas are super weak. The "spicy" tastes like tapatio mixed with lemon juice. The mild is very mild like tomato sauce. It's not real Mexican tacos, it's hippie California beach tacos. Good once in a while.”

“Hidden gem and the smallest beach in town! I love walking down this curvy staircase to the tiny beach/tidepool below. From this vantage point, you can enjoy unobstructed views of Laguna Beach, and even Dana Point on a clear day! You can also relax on the giant rocks at the end of the staircase and watch surfers ride the waves along Heisler Park’s mini beaches. This is a perfect secluded and romantic spot to watch the sunrise or sunset. There isn’t space to do much in this area but I recommend at least walking down the staircase for a little peek at this beautiful and tiny craggy shore!”

“Creative and tasty. The menu has a very nice selection. The corn soup and swordfish were excellent with a nice portion. The service was good but not great. There are no salt and pepper shakers in the tables; I asked for some but never got it.”

“Was a great find 'back when', pet friendly, a real bargain right on the Laguna shuttle route. Also is a short walk to the beach at Shaw's Cove. Was a very charming vintage motel with a great owner or manager that took care of all the landscape and was very nice at every turn. Was not fancy, but had a cozy ambiance. It's apparently changed hands and is currently unavailable during the turnover (no one answers the listed phone). Will miss the old Laguna feel this place had.”
