“This restaurant offered a diverse menu that we were able to select from. As a chef, I wanted to grasp what was a popular dish and ordered a dish for myself that brought me back to a comfort home reminder! The fried chicken W/gravy and biscuits. It was delicious and filling. Yet I gravitated to the other plates that were brought to our table and found the Chilean sea bass to be the superior shining light of this restaurants offerings! If you’re in Laguna Beach I strongly suggest stopping here as the appetizers itself are filling enough and delicious also. Having cocktails at the bar was entertaining as the bar staff (Austin and Craig) completed our night with laughter. -Chef-”

“Out of all the places we stayed on our trip to California this was bay far the best. Nice smelling lobby with a chess board and free wine from 5-6pm. The rooms were clean and bright and ours had a private patio area. The cozy pool hot tub and fire pit was a great spot to relax. Just a quick walk to the beach and another short walk to lots of restaurants shopping and other beaches and museums. Will be back again with our kids next time.”

“Best hotel and staff ever!! I stayed here last weekend and everything was perfect. I dealt with Anthony and jordon in valet And Danielle and Tess at the front desk. Their dedication to serving their guests is impeccable. They all must be getting paid super well with great benefits judging by how they treat their guests. The parking situation isn't as bad as some Karen's reviewed. Self parking is literally in the next building over (exercise much?). The $50 a night seems steep at first for valet but I promise you it's worth it. You can come and go anytime without having to walk back and fourth and have to find parking every single time. The self parking garage is mostly for tenants of the apartments anyway so parking is limited there. This is the cost of parking in any big downtown area. Check in and out was super easy thanks to Danielle and Tess . To call the elevator you want to press the buttons by the left elevator. And once inside you'll need to hold the key card to the thing for a few seconds to activate, not a quick swipe. I was upgraded from a cozy to a roomy room which was great. It was super clean, soundproofed with great decor and the views of the city were amazing. Nice clean King sized bed. The shower was amazing too being it's own room with a waterfall shower head. I initially couldn't figure out how to turn the shower on but one call to Tess and she came running. You turn the bottom knob all the way to the right. I wish there was better cable tv. There was nothing good to watch except when Harry Potter came on but not everyone will be that lucky. The fridge wasn't cold at all so prepare for that. The rooftop is a great place to hang with amazing city views morning and night. I'd recommend making reservations on the weekends to go up there. There is a 24 hour Mexican food place with really bomb tacos just down the same street and there are bird scooters around to get you there quick. There were some people in and out of the hotel (mostly guests) but they were all super nice. I didn't see a problem with too many people as I've read in some Karen reviews. Overall amazing stay and thank you again to the amazing staff that made our stay so perfect!”

My family made a reservation but didn’t get our table till 45 minutes later because of other customers staying exceedingly long but we were accommodated with a full round of drinks and an entire dessert platter on the house. They went so above and beyond for us I had to write a review because what the waiter and managers did was truly outstanding. Very rare nowadays. (The food was delicious and fantastic as well.)”

“The Capri has great energy and is a wonderful hotel to stay at if you are in Laguna Beach. We stayed at the Capri Laguna Beach for one night and had a lovely time. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was beautiful, and having access to the private beach was lovely. We loved that there are many restaurants within walking distance and the hotel staff is so lovely and accommodating. The lovely young lady at the front desk, Bashir, and the Manager Nick all were so kind and genuine and went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. I am so grateful we found this lovely hotel and can't wait to come back with my family and enjoy this beautiful property.”

“I played golf at Ben Browns and had lunch following and it was really nice. Course is a fun, par 32 layout with some tough par 3s. Set back in the canyon it is a pretty layout that is enjoyable. The restuarant was terrific, offering a good selection of beer on tap and a variety of sandwiches and entrees for lunch. Great atmosphere, reasonably priced, good service. I recommend giving it a try!”

“I went to the loft restaurant at the montage in Laguna Beach. I was there for their breakfast alongside a business meeting. The service was prompt and very professional. Although after we closed out the level of attention dropped and something as simple as refilling a glass of water was overlooked. I personally believe if you are still seated at a table there should be someone who will check in periodically and can be attentive to the needs of the customer. All in all I was very pleased with the overall service of the staff at the montage in Laguna Beach.”
