“Auburn Regional parks are run by the Auburn Recreation District (ARD) and NOT Placer County Parks. FYI.”

“ARD has so much to offer our community. I am so appreciative of all the classes, and daycare they provide. The office is helpful and has options for scholarships for the year. The pool is kept clean and is a great temp, the parks are always clean and fun because there are several to choose from. Both my kids benefit from ARD and so does our community.”

“Awesome! 🤩 A very beautiful and breathtaking place.🤠🫶 A large lake, a waterfall, a beautiful meandering river, a rocky shore, hills and a stunning sunset make this place incredibly romantic.🌊🏞⛰🌅🥰 You can take many beautiful photos, fly a drone, go down to the river, ride a boat and many other things you can think of.🤳🚁🚤 We walked at sunset and enjoyed the beauty and scenery of this beautiful place.☀️🌅👫 A place you want to return to)😇🥰 Highly recommended 👍”

“Mostly a wide, gentle graded path with several fun side chutes down to the river. We walked all the way to the little houseboat Marina, where the camp host showed us a trail down to a tiny sandy beach. Watch out for poison oak.”

“This trail was well traveled by a lot of people. The first portion of the trail was fairly easy as it was mostly flat. The further you traveled, the more of an incline there is. The last 1/4 of the trail is more downhill until you get to the waterfall. It’s absolutely gorgeous and a nice area to view. I always recommend getting to Auburn by 8 at the latest as parking fills up quickly. Because there is more street parking than some of the other trails, you can expect this trail to contain more people. Parking is $10 and they do have Rangers patrolling and handing out tickets. On the opposite side of the Clementine trail, there is a similar trail with beach access as you will see in the images below”

“Great area but do be safe. The river takes lives every year. No hands bridge is a nice walk. Water is cold and fast. Bring life vests if you plan on going in the water. Parking is busy and hectic on the weekends. Pack it in, pack it out. A gem of the county. Don't miss out on this beautiful place.”

“A good place to hike. People are friendly on trails. If you head out on the weekend, show up early the parking along road fills up.”

“I just park a 18 wheeler on the off ramp and walk on over to get the heck out the truck for a minute while hauling food out of US Cold Storage in Sacramento. It is a nice place to get a breath of fresh air when I am to early for my appointment. I can honestly say I would bring my wife and six kids here to play around if we lived in California and not VA.”

“Loved that they had a reservation system, probably kept the crowd down. We enjoyed the amazing trail to the falls area and had fun in the water. The drought made for the falls being very calm, but still beautiful. This is a must stop for anyone who loves waterfalls. The hike was only about a mile and half, but going back, it is mostly all uphill. Bring water, there is water at the start, but nothing after that.”

“Lots of free parking. Large covered picnic table area, huge grassy area, bathroom had decent running water and soap, great play area with sand pit and multiple sized slides. Part of the playground is wheelchair accessible to go up a ramp to the steering wheel. Unfortunately the rest is not and even one of the medium sized slides you need to climb up a ladder or plastic rocks to access. Had a very high slide so good for bigger kids too! Two normal sling swings and two baby swings, no handicap accessible swing. Very nice place to take kids for play or lunch.”

“Nice, large park with a lot of amenities. The lake is nice. The only thing I didn't like is how muddy it was in a lot of places, especially around the playgrounds. I'm not sure if it gets like this a lot, but I think they need to work on better drainage.”
