“Perfect place to walk and enjoy outdoor activities. Have to share the paths though cuz there are bikers and runners alongside you as you're walking. Early morning and evening walkers may get the added treat of seeing wildlife such as deer, beaver and sometimes even a river otter. January 2023 had massive flooding along the stream.”

“Came to run around with the dog here. Very quiet and not busy at all. Nice big and green field to run around in. No drinking fountains that I saw, but there’s a couple of porta potty’s if you need them. There’s a hidden tennis court located in the back.”

“In summer, there are many trails that could be mixed and matched to create a desired difficulty. The trail I took followed Burton creek and eventually went around Antone Meadows. Small views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding area. Parking was free.”

“ARD has so much to offer our community. I am so appreciative of all the classes, and daycare they provide. The office is helpful and has options for scholarships for the year. The pool is kept clean and is a great temp, the parks are always clean and fun because there are several to choose from. Both my kids benefit from ARD and so does our community.”

“Awesome! 🤩 A very beautiful and breathtaking place.🤠🫶 A large lake, a waterfall, a beautiful meandering river, a rocky shore, hills and a stunning sunset make this place incredibly romantic.🌊🏞⛰🌅🥰 You can take many beautiful photos, fly a drone, go down to the river, ride a boat and many other things you can think of.🤳🚁🚤 We walked at sunset and enjoyed the beauty and scenery of this beautiful place.☀️🌅👫 A place you want to return to)😇🥰 Highly recommended 👍”

“My wife and I love this park and have bringing our dogs here for years. They have drinking fountains, dog poop bags available as well as trash cans. Wide open areas and very friendly people. I would recommend bringing your own water dish to avoid from doggy viruses. They have two parks. One for larger dogs and the other four smaller ones. Also includes safe holding areas to remove leashes from your dog before they play.”

“Mostly a wide, gentle graded path with several fun side chutes down to the river. We walked all the way to the little houseboat Marina, where the camp host showed us a trail down to a tiny sandy beach. Watch out for poison oak.”

“Great neighborhood park. Large zipline and this large boat swing I haven't seen anywhere else. Good for ages 8 to 12. Taking one star away because the park lacks a jungle gym type playground.”

“Lots of shade, lots of parking, very pretty. Never had any issues parking there and sleeping between shifts in years past. I always feel safe to do so. Great park for a nice walk, kids can play, baseball fields, and sometimes they have little fairs or events going on there that are really lots of fun.”

“A simple park within walking distance of thousands of homes, well kept grass, large play structure, and covered picnic area make this one of my favorite parks to walk to in West Park”

“Excellent city park! TONS of grassy area. Baseball diamond, basketball court, two playsets, covered and uncovered tables, lots of trees for shade. It's a fantastic location with light foot traffic. The restrooms could be maintained better but otherwise 10/10.”
Address: 9245 Walerga Rd, Roseville, CA 95747, USA
“Best place to chill near water close to Antelope. Water is clear and cold. Very dog friendly as well, and most dogs here are well behaved and good with re-call. Definitely use bug spray and watch out for no-see-ems they bite in the tall grass.”

“we love going here! we take the boat out almost every weekend and we never fail to have a good time. there is so many places to anchor and swim. also super fun to tube and waterski! even if you dont have a boat its still fun just to sit on the beach and relax. the water is always the perfect temperature. during winter this part of the lake is closed but north shore is always open. def recommend :)”

“Hiked from rattlesnake bar parking lot all the way to granite bay horse staging area. It's about 10 miles and not a flat ground hike. There is a good work out by taking this trail but it's so great you got to do it. Getting ready for elk hunt in Colorado and this is perfect training for it. Make a day of it and go do this hike. Bring lunch and lots of water and swim suit because you can take a dip along the way. Enjoy!”

“This trail was well traveled by a lot of people. The first portion of the trail was fairly easy as it was mostly flat. The further you traveled, the more of an incline there is. The last 1/4 of the trail is more downhill until you get to the waterfall. It’s absolutely gorgeous and a nice area to view. I always recommend getting to Auburn by 8 at the latest as parking fills up quickly. Because there is more street parking than some of the other trails, you can expect this trail to contain more people. Parking is $10 and they do have Rangers patrolling and handing out tickets. On the opposite side of the Clementine trail, there is a similar trail with beach access as you will see in the images below”

“Nice quiet little park. Playground for the kids with large open grass area. No dog park but some people will bring a dog here. Just clean up after yer dog to be respectful to the kids who wanna run and play. Two picnic tables and a small BBQ. Parking on street side limited but does have handicapped access and parking.”

“Love the dog park here. Most of the owners pay attention to their dogs and are proactive with doggy etiquette. Park is clean and well maintained.”

“This is a nice little park in the North Tahoe area. I’ve been here a few times and only in the snow. It’s $5 to park and bring your own gear. I took my daughter and her friends up to play and get some sledding in and I did a little snowshoeing to test out the new bindings (ok so I took a few runs down the hill too). The bathrooms were clean and there was soap in the dispenser.”

“It used to always be empty. Now it is full of families and dogs. Lots of fun playing!”

“Love this park. There's something for everyone. Splash pad, covered picnic tables, play structures & encloses dog park. It also has an 18 hole disc golf course, skate park & HUGE grassy field for the kiddos or dogs to play and run. Plenty of bathrooms is a huge plus for anyone with littles!”
Address: 1460 Northpark Dr, Roseville, CA 95747, USA
“This is just one of many fun and beautiful parks in Roseville. There is a huge grassy field that you could play easily two or three different soccer games. The park is great and a pretty good size along with a half court basketball hoop. I love taking the kids here, except the only downside is that there is no bathroom. Park is completed by swings and a sand pit.”
Address: Tahoe Rim Trail, Tahoe Vista, CA 96148, USA
“Took this trail to Picnic Rock. 1 1/2 miles one way. There is a fork 1 1/4 miles in. Turn left to go to Picnic Rick, straight for Griff trail. A sign is there to point the way. It is an easy path, but does ascend continuously the entire way. Nothing technical, but unless you hike at altitude regularly, it will give you a mild cardio workout. View is worth the effort. Stopping numerous times to take pics, it took about 50 minutes to the top.”
Address: Auburn, CA 95603, USA
“Great area but do be safe. The river takes lives every year. No hands bridge is a nice walk. Water is cold and fast. Bring life vests if you plan on going in the water. Parking is busy and hectic on the weekends. Pack it in, pack it out. A gem of the county. Don't miss out on this beautiful place.”

“Great Park, especially for meeting up with one or two other families. ● Bathrooms - they're in good shape but needed a clorox wipe-down. Two gender-neutral bathrooms. ● Covered tables... but very limited and all separated, away from each other. Not great for a larger group or a birthday party. People would have to separate into groups to sit at tables out of conversation range. There are also only 2 or so covered tables, so it wouldn't be an ideal park for summertime. ● Possible water feature?? The Tiki thing has a big button like it's a water feature but I did not see any holes for water spray. Maybe it comes out the top? Maybe it's not a water feature at all. If it is, that would raise it a notch for a summer location. ● Water fountain for kids. ● Mid-Size playground. Big enough to accommodate older kids but not one of the big ones as far as parks go. Good enough for a group of mixed ages. It has a good variety of unique play structure pieces, too. ● Alternatively, the property is very large with a lot of grassy open space. ● Sandy volley ball area, great for sand toys! The kids were getting water from the water fountain to add into their play. ● Two baby swings & two big kid swings. ● No designated parking lot, but there is a lot of parking alongside the huge property.”
